Splinters are easily removed with this product! You'll never give yourself a shadow over what you're looking at anymore because it's a comfortable headset with an attached LED light.

The distortion and focus distance were so horrible that it was extremely difficult, if not impossible, to use for fountain pen nibs altogether.

Rather than a magnifier, it was more like a microscope

As opposed to a magnifier, it was more of a microscope. It was necessary to place the object less than half an inch from the lens to be able to see anything. It is not reasonable to use watch batteries for replacement.
