This stop is made in the United States, so it feels smoother and looks better. It does the same job as the imported product. Getting a hold of the imported product is a headache The latter is free and much more popular than the former.

Originally purchased for my craftsman drill press, this depth stop is perfect for that project. The threads on these levels were the same as those on my depth stops. It did not come with a quill stop when it was manufactured, which I also needed for this drill press. There were ways to make a quill stop on the internet, but it was too complicated for me. It turned out that this stop also works for a quill stop, if you simply move the stop above the stop casting to below it, then the stop acts as The process is divided into two steps, the equipment is one step.

This was a stop that was made in China at the same price as it was made in the USA

It's a nice piece and I would recommend it, but I paid three times as much for the exact design made in China under the guise it was made in the Upon receiving the package, the "Origin" is displayed. It is "China".

It was a pleasure to install this on my drill press, and it makes setting the depth of my drill incredibly easy and fast. The spring has the perfect tension, and it stays exactly where I set it, so the depth is exactly what I set.
