It is imperative that you have this on your 5 inch Bosch grinder if safety is your #1 concern

With this cut off guard, I can protect my Bosch AG50-A I have found that the 11VS angle grinder works wonders at keeping debris from getting on my hands and face as well. As far as I can tell, you can adjust the angle to pretty much any level you want or need, and adjustments are quite easy to make, at least on my model. I assume the others would be the same. My cutter wheels as well as grinding wheels work excellently in this unit. Also, instead of changing guards when you need to change attachments, you can easily remove/install it when you need to attach an attachment that does not fit under it. Those who are safety conscientious, like myself, ought to have this item. I highly recommend this book.

It keeps you safe from sparks. I was able to install it easily, and it was compatible with my GWS This is compatible with all GWS series, according to my research.

There is no directional guide, although it is effective in removing sparks that could fly in your face, but it is not particularly intuitive

It is not as if you have much choice, since this is a proprietary attachment that is designed to increase Relocating it quickly is challenging and it would be helpful if there were guides so that I would know what side to turn it on when I switch from one side to another without getting a face-to-face contact with the device. There is a lot of spark in it.

Safety attachment that must be attached

Gear that is necessary for safety. It is my first time using an angle grinder, and I just purchased a Bosch 5" 13 model to fix my concrete driveway. Watched a few hours of Angle Grinder Safety and Accident videos on YouTube before purchasing this item.
