These were purchased for use in the field as temporary Angle and Channel supports to hold weld plates in place while pouring concrete. This necessitated the use of hand drills and a less-than-consistent cutting oil application. I assumed we'd go through the entire set in one day because, at that price and under those conditions, I expected each bit to produce no more than 2 or 3 holes. My assumptions were incorrect. Each bit provided us with at least 7 holes. When we run out, we'll purchase again.
On each bit, I got over a dozen holes, which is excellent in my opinion.
I appreciated the fact that I was able to acquire the item.
I'm a member of the Cigar Box Guitar scene. Many of the tuners we use are imported and require a tenth. For a perfect fit, drill a 3 mm hole. The tightness of 10 mm is excessive. 11 mm is too big, but 13/32" is perfect. Goldilocks (DrillForce) has done an outstanding job.
They're of good quality for the price.
These bits are used to drill holes in wood and aluminum. They perform admirably and last just as long as the Big Name components.
Titanium Coated Drill Bits are inferior to Titanium Drill Bits in terms of performance. Titanium Coated Doesn't hold up well when drilling out case harden bolts; they burn up quickly. However, it's great for sheet metal because it leaves a nice clean hole.
