As I was using a Black & Decker old hand drill to drill holes in a piece of wood, I picked up one of the pilot drill bits. When it snapped, a Decker drill that puts out less torque than a 90 year old woman with arthritis in her wrists. As evident from the fact that it was no longer drilling straight holes before it snapped, it was getting slightly bent before it snapped. This bit only broke after only drilling three holes with it. I have only just begun to use it. There is very poor quality steel and very poor quality control in this case.
I am disappointed since Bosch used to be synonymous with quality for me, and I keep purchasing and using their products, but this demonstrates their poor quality. As a whole, there are some great bits in this set. I haven't used them all, but until this incident, I was satisfied with it.

In a case, I really like the idea of being able to modify the bit holders so you can match them to your layout preferences. There's a room for improvement if you can attach the bit holders either upside down or right side up. This would allow you to fill up the space between short drill bits and longer drill bits that are placed next to each other with more options. A similar idea would be to have bite holders that have a gap on one side so that longer drill bits can occupy that space while you can still use the row on the other side. Would also be nice if there were more than just four spots for the holders to be attached so that they could be adjusted a little better. It's actually quite cool to see that there are four bit holders. I didn't even realize it until I looked at it right now. There are four on the top and four on Located on the far right side. It's great to have a case and a bag together. While I have a similar Milwaukee Shockwave case, it had fewer parts, but I liked that it was equipped with quick-release clips A new drill bit should be used. I have found it convenient, but somewhat limited in its capabilities. Having the inner sets interchangeable is a great asset if those sets need to be updated at some point.
