My bits actually became dulled by the experience

In my experience, one can't be cynical with everything in life, which is why I decided to give this sharpener a chance. It's off center and the stone is too small to work with to actually sharpen In spite of its shape (cylindrical), the sharpening stone isn't round. When you try to use the axle, that axle is in such a way that it bounces the plastic casing for the bit placement when you try to use it. The bits I tried to sharpen actually became dull as a result.

I'd be willing to bet that my drill bits would be sharper if I just lit it on fire in the street and prayed to the drill bit gods with the few dollars I spent on it.
