My experience working in the plumbing industry over the past 30 years has shown that Bosch hammer drill tool always carry out the task at hand and I have yet to break one. This pilot, arbor, and grip are all made of one piece If you need to work in tight spaces or with large core bits, the 7" extension is an ideal choice. It's also easier to install the one-piece combo with no set screws to get in my way or fall out.
