I strongly object to being forced into one brand of blade types that render the tool virtually unusable in day-to-day work, as many applications of an OMT damage the blade, such as chopping through mortar behind a firing strip or cutting through laminated flooring. The type of blade allows you to ask the question upfront before using, 'Is the cut worth the $12 blade that this will destroy?'? There was no good reason for Bosch to do this other than to lock its customers into its own type of blade, nor does it result in any noticeably improved performance. It used to be that their omts were ois, and they should be ois again. Since I have been using Bosch tools for a long time, I am angry and enraged at this cynical and dishonest policy. I've put my Bosch tools on the shelf in order not to be ripped off every time I use their equipment. There is a greater likelihood they will listen if more people speak out.
I am a remodeling carpenter and my tools are used almost every day. There are a few downsides to Starlock blades, including their cost and their difficulty to find. Once you get past those, Bosch blades follow Fein blades in quality and are a lot less expensive. I took special note of Bosch blades for cutting wood. Fast and fluid removal of materials is achieved.
Wood and cloth will just shear the teeth off, whereas metal will tear them The first two of these lasted less than a day, and I threw them.
OMTE blade is great for cutting wood quickly and cleanly, also stays sharp for a long time if it is not hit with It is nice that the edge has a curve to it.
With Bosch, you'll get the best blades on the market! The following and other books are highly recommended This is a product I will definitely purchase.
The blade that comes with many Bosch multitools is wider than the Blade that comes with most other models. It is referred to as a Japanese style tooth by the "J" in the model number. It refers to the bisexual lifestyle It is composed of a thin metal strip that's welded to the tip of the blade, and the teeth are cut into this strip There is a metal strip on the end. These "J" blades will cut wood at the fastest speed Bosch offers. In spite of the aggressiveness of their cutting, their edges are in most cases clean. This blade is what you need to use if you need to cut out large openings for vents, such as cutting out a floor opening for one. You can make perfect 90 degree cuts by using a wood block as a straightedge.
