This is my 20th year as a carpenter. It is the best blades I have bought for an oscillating tool. Home Depot charges $13 for ONE blade, and the blades are supposed to last up to one The blades have been used on wood, metal siding, pvc, nails, and I have not seen a single nick on any of them. I believe it was about then. At this rate, I won't require another set for 20 years. They are the only ones I will ever purchase in the future. I would recommend not changing the make of these blades, they are wonderful.
These are my go-to tools for my Ridgid Multi-tool This is an Oscillating saw by Max. It is very convenient for me that the blades have a gap on them that allows me to insert them onto my table saw without threading the locking pin through Pine is so easy for them to cut, and they are long enough to cut right through 1 inch. This stock has a 5" diameter. As for cutting through oak, I've used them to do it too and they just glide right through. They do get damaged when you hit a nail, but they are so darn affordable that I buy another one as soon as I break one. The books come in a nice case, which I keep in my truck at work. I can go through about three blades in a workday as a contractor, so these are an excellent value.
It's great to have such great blades. There is a nice case that came with them. A card that was inside the package told me to take some of the blades out of the container so that it wouldn't get damaged. My problem was that the lid of the container was broken off when I opened it. The blades themselves are good, Installing a kitchen sink can be done with an easy cut through the countertop.
The price is pretty cheap, the length is not very long but it cuts a good 3/4" and it lasts nearly as long as the expensive name brand ones. Though a little thinner than the name brand ones, even if it lasts half as long (it seems to last at least half as long), they work fine and are a fraction of the price. does not work with the new "snap" buttons. Fein's new "in" tool is less expensive.
I found these blades to be less expensive than anywhere else I've looked. I have used them in the past and they hold up about as well as DeWalt or Harbor Freight for a fraction of the price. If it runs out, I will buy more.
It was a great buy to buy these oscillating bits. As a first-time customer, I was concerned, since I received so many at such a low price. However, I was pleasantly surprised when they arrived. My only complaint is that the Dermel is not compatible with them because you need an adaptor to use them with it. I wish the adaptor wasn't included. If I had to purchase them again, I would definitely do so.
I love that I can throw away a dull blade just like that and keep plenty of fresh ones on hand instead of watching myself burn through the last one. According to what I can tell, they last just as long as the Fein razor blades, but for a fraction of the price.
The product so far has not proven itself to be a disappointment for me. If anything, it has impressed me. It's very difficult to tell how large the difference in price and quality is between name-brand and non-brand models. I have used a lot of top-name brands of oscillating blades, and they ARE all fairly quick to break. It may take a few jobs for them to wear out, or maybe their lifespan is With so many blades for such a low price, it's a great deal. This is the second time I have purchased. You don't need to spend $30 for 3 blades from a name brand when these will work just as well for a fraction of the price.
