Fully stopped working within a short time. This product was purchased several months ago so I could use it with my leaf blower in the fall. The dual battery charger worked perfectly for the first few tries. Unfortunately, that changed when one of the charging stations quit working in the middle of a charge. I just received it yesterday, so I haven't had the time to fully evaluate, but unpacking was straightforward since there is really only the charger in the box along with a letter that basically tells you what to do and what not to do. It is odd that the charger cord is located on the top side of the unit. If you would mount it on the wall, the cord would appear on top which seems a bit silly since it should appear at the bottom of the unit. Furthermore, the documentation does not explain how to fast charge one battery while the other one charges at the normal rate. However, I assume that if there is just one battery charging that the smart charger would fast charge that battery and if there are two it would charge them at the normal rate. No buttons or anything like that are located on the unit, and the LEDs that are located in the middle of the unit are simply for looks they do not light up or anything, they just let you know what the leds underneath the batteries are for and what stage of charging they are at. Only time will tell how well this unit charges the batteries, but I have never seen the lights turn off from charging, so I am somewhat concerned that the unit will continue to charge even after the batteries are fully charged. I wish the little sheet of paper they send with it explained things a little better. A quick update will be posted once we have had the unit for a few days.

It turns out that one side of the dual charger base doesn't work. As I received the product less than 3 months ago, I contacted the seller to request a warranty claim (the device comes with 12 months of coverage). There is no doubt that this charger has exceptional performance. It turned out one of the charging lights went out, so it was possible that this side was not Since I am exchanging items due to the reasons stated above, I logged into my Amazon account and requested an exchange. A new one arrived at my door before I could return the bad one to Amazon. There was even an easier way to return their item. My email was sent and I took the item to UPS, they used the code in the email to scan the item, packed it up and sent it back to me. Whenever I shop online, I will shop at Amazon first since I can return items very easily.

My charger has been working for a few weeks now, but I just noticed today that the right port didn't have a light. I had two batteries set up for charging, and the one on the left was fine (green). The battery that was on the right (unlit) port started charging on the left when the positions were swapped. I'm returning the unit to get a refund since I have no idea whether the right port is working.

Here is what has been done thus I'm so glad. When I first bought a 18V double battery pack, the pack would stop in 10 seconds if it stopped charging. Hence, I bought the charger. According to my research, someone encountered the same problem and found their charger to be the problem as well. Therefore, I bought the double battery pack. I was thrilled to find that the battery packs now work like a charm. Compared to my original Worx battery and charger, these are more powerful and last longer. In my opinion, one of my best "Dad" moves of the year was new battery pack and purchase of this double charger. Simple LED indicators also accompany the device and it takes two hours to charge A time period of three hours has been specified.

Because the button does not need to be pushed several times to remove batteries, it is effortless to remove two batteries at a time. It works great on the bench and does not take up too much space.
