All Makita 18v batteries are compatible with this adapter. I've put all three of my points to good use. The compact batteries will work but will not last as long on the power wheels if you have the 5 ah batteries.
It can also be used with the Makita 14. The battery is 4 volts.
It is not supplied with a battery.
No, only makita 18v batteries will work.

It's extremely simple to set up. On my son's four wheeler, it takes no more than five minutes. It's very quick, and he can drive for about an hour with the 5Ah makita battery. Much more quickly than in the past. A helmet is strongly advised. This could be used in a variety of ways.
To begin, I removed (cut) the original battery's inline fuse connections and original connection ports. They're in a snap-off top compartment, which I installed between this product and the car connection so that I can switch back to a car brand name battery at any time because I didn't cut the car wires. On that note, our car had buttons you could press to make it talk, and they were always on as long as the battery was plugged in. They'd work even if the car didn't have enough power to run. When I plugged it in (18v), all of the lights on the voice panel began flashing and eventually stopped working completely. The vehicle is operational, but the controls are inoperable. We still don't know what happened. I'm hoping it's just a fuse that needs to be replaced. There was no burning odor at all. If you're concerned about the extra buttons, you should look into it before turning up the volume. My children, on the other hand, were not so fortunate. Because our car runs on 12 volts, my 18 volt Impact battery made a significant difference in acceleration. It's quick and recharges quickly, but with a 3 amp battery, it'll probably only last about ten minutes per session. A friend told me that a Makita 5 amp would last longer. It was extremely simple to set up and was well worth the money.
Item is exactly as shown in the picture. It's simple to set up and use, and it does exactly what it should.
I like this product because I can connect it to my grandson's electric car and then simply plug in one of my Makita batteries. And I'll never have to buy another battery for my electric car. The price was reasonable, saving you three times the cost of a new battery.
Added an in-line fuse holder to our powerwheels, which is a fantastic upgrade. It's a perfect fit for the Makita battery.
This adapter should help me breathe new life into my old tool collection now that I've switched to Makita tools and batteries.
It's fantastic; it doubled the speed of my son's four-wheeler.
