I don't see any markings on mine that indicate where it was made, but it appears to be well-made. I've been using it for a few months and I'm very happy with it.
Northeim, I'm afraid there isn't an original inlet swivel replacement part for this item on the market yet. While we check with the factory, we'll let you know how long it will take for a replacement to arrive.

Selected User Reviews For ReelWorks Air Hose Reel 3/8" Inch x 50' Foot SBR Rubber Hose Max 300PSI Commercial Steel Construction
The compressed air input is on the left when facing the wall or ceiling to which it has been mounted. The bracket can be mounted on the wall, ceiling, or floor, but the reel can't be flipped to put the input on the right side. This is a substantial, well-made piece of furniture. Even when the hose is unrolled from the reel, you'll need to mount it on a sturdy surface, studs, or a backing board, so keep the left input in mind when deciding where to mount it. This is also designed to work with large compressors that have a 3/8" hose. Although 1/4" adapters are available, a 3/8" hose comes with two. Because a 1/4" hose has 25 times the area (and thus volume) of a 1/4" hose, you should look for a 1/4" hose version if you have a 1/4" compressor.
The next time I buy, I'll go local.
For my woodworking shop, I purchased this unit. The overall quality of the construction is excellent, with thick gauge steel and a nice finish. Hanging it was a breeze thanks to the sturdy mounting bolts included. Because the spring action is smooth, I can reach all corners of my large shop with ease. It also includes a high-resolution camera. Rubber hose of excellent quality that should last a long time. My air compressor only needs to cycle when I'm using it because there is virtually no leakage.
This is fantastic. For years, I struggled to get the air hose wrapped up. in this case. It's simple and straightforward. Keep in mind that you'll need an extra hose to connect the reel to the air compressor. (To make a short hose, I used an old hose that had been fighting me for years. ) It was enjoyable to cut it. lol).
After removing the entire hose from the reel, it refused to retract, leaving me with 50 feet of hose. a tangle of hose around the reel and compressor Useless!.
My compressor is primarily used for woodworking. It used to be that way. I'd simply unravel a hose and ravel it back up when I was finished. What a Horrible Experience! This is no longer the case; this device is incredible. This was well-made, and it took two people to hang it from the ceiling of my garage. If the number of cars in your garage is less than eight, you have a small garage If you're under 6', you'll hit your head on the hose end (I'm 5'9" and have no problems), and that's if you mount it in the middle of the garage.
The quality is commercial. I was able to do a wall mount at a height of 6 feet off the ground with ease. It would be easier to install if the supply hose had a swivel fitting. Having a non-alcoholic beverage is also beneficial. It would be faster and easier to install if an experienced user wrote the installation and operation instructions. Even though I have a lot of experience and tools, I only have a sketch to answer the question of which side is left and right when installing a wall. A supply hose and quick-disconnect fittings were included in the package. Supplier deserves kudos. Strongly suggested.
This has been in use in a professional auto shop for about a month now, and there have been no complaints. This is a fairly heavy-duty unit, so I expect it to last us for quite some time.
