Is there a red Mitutoyo package available for this?

The majority of Mititoyo items come in orange boxes, which I believe is orange. The color of starrett is usually red.

What's the difference between this edge finder and the 050101 edge finder?

The only difference is the shank size, which is 3/8 inches in diameter on 050101. The shank diameter of the 050102 is 1/2 inch. Originally, I had a 3/8-inch diameter, but I now use 1/2-inch diameter end mills and cutters in my mill. Now that I have a 1/2-inch shank, I don't have to replace the collets as frequently.

In the context of this tool, I'm not sure what "sheerness" or "stretch" mean. All I have to say is that it functions as it should. br>br>I bought another one from a different vendor, and it was stiff and wouldn't pop out once it was in place. br>br>This Mitutoyo one does exactly what it says it will, and it works perfectly. If I damage this one, I would/will buy it again.

It came in a red plastic sleeve with a sticker on it that said Mititoyo 050102 made in USA, and it came from a machinist

It's finely ground and performs similarly to my Brown. 3/8" sharp Happy!.

E isn't the best letter. But I've been through a lot worse. It's good for the money, but I'm not sure I'd choose it if I had to go to the moon or transport people. UPDATE! Keep a safe distance from this scum. The tip broke off when it rolled off my bench. Maybe three months' worth of use. Spend the money once and buy the tool, or spend the money multiple times and buy the tool? I'm going to get the Starrett or B. I wish I knew where I could find a Herman Schmidt.

Great product, but one thing is missing

Product arrived ahead of schedule, and it's a great product, but I only got three of the four I ordered. One of the items was missing, but the package was not torn or ripped. I tried to get a refund, but they want me to set up a return for everything. I need the other three right now, so I guess I'm out $12 for one.
