This is an excellent product that I have found to be very useful. When extending the air hose, some reviewers report having difficulty getting it to latch and not retract. As you extend the hose, just keep an ear out for clicks. When you hear the clicks, stop pulling out the hose; that's when it'll latch. In a professional shop, I use this air hose reel on a daily basis. For me, it works flawlessly. Regarding the mounting issues raised by some, no, it does not come with mounting hardware, and they would have no idea what you intend to mount it to. One mounting suggestion I have is to trace the mounting plate on top of a piece of paper to create a pattern for drilling the holes needed for your application. Simply place the pattern in the required location and drill the holes.

All of the Flexzilla products I've purchased have exceeded my expectations, and this hose is no exception. It's built to last and easily retracts. I only have two minor gripes: br>br>
1. ) The bolt holes for mounting the unit are extremely difficult to reach. It would be nice if the mounting plate was extended a few inches to move the holes away from the real so that a wrench or impact driver could be used;
2. It's difficult to keep the real from shrinking. It usually takes several small pulls to catch and stop the hose from being pulled back in. Keep an eye out for when the real begins to retract. So the hose doesn't sink too quickly, I walk it back onto the ground.

It's a good reel, but it's much flimsier than I expected. When pulling out or reeling in the hose, the arm coming off the reel is so thin that it moves from side to side.

This is a fantastic product, but it is ridiculously overpriced! I found this same item for 50% less on the internet after I installed it for 50% less on the internet after I installed it for.

I'm pretty sure this is the best hose reel I've ever used. This is a fantastic device. It's simple to install; simply secure it to something stable and pipe it into your air lines using the included jumped. The hose is made of a more modern rubber that does not appear to hold dirt and sand like older rubber hoses. Get the high-flow coupler and plug kit as well - you'll be glad you did. Your high-flow air tools, such as impact guns, will benefit from it.

It makes me happy every time I use it - a well-made, long-lasting hose reel that does exactly what it should. When retracting, there are no tangles, and it always works perfectly.
