Questions & Answers
Thank you for contacting me, Edward. All of our dealer shoes and discard trays are made of the same thick and strong acrylic. Rest assured that, despite the listing not indicating 1/4" thickness like the others, the acrylic is of the same high quality, whether you're getting a 2-inch or a 2-foot piece. deck, 4- deck, 6- deck, or an eight-player game The deck shoe is a type of footwear.
Sorry, but sleeved cards will not fit. Only 6 standard blackjack playing cards and 5 card separators are required.
It is not necessary to screw it down because it is freestanding.
With fewer than six decks, of course, it works.

It has a solid feel to it and is very functional. These were only delivered to me a couple of days ago. The trash can is made of extra-thick acrylic. Even if it were dropped, I don't think it would be damaged. I'd still stay away from it. It also has screw holes so that it can be mounted on a table. This might be a good idea, but I just push it up against the rail and it works fine for me. br>br>The shoe was also in good condition. The black rubber bands that encircle the cylindrical metal weight had to be adjusted. I pinch the rubber band, lift it, move it over, and set it down to accomplish this. I kept doing this as I rotated it until it was all in line. br>br> One of the bands had a slot that I could drop into. The other, on the other hand, failed to do so. That strikes me as strange, but it works fine. br>br>I'm also perplexed by some of the reviews on this site. One of the men appeared to be attempting to remove the metal roller, or perhaps the weight was missing when he received it? The cylinder was inside the black wedge when I received mine. I just needed to adjust the bands that were already on the wheel. It was simple and straightforward. Pick up the black wedge/metal roller and place it in the shoe after adjusting the bands. It's self-explanatory, but I thought I'd mention it. br>br>I believe shipping damage is to blame for the majority of the negative reviews. The discard tray was not delivered to a few other people. I don't have any experience with it because mine came with it. br>br>Overall, this is a good product for card games because it allows for quick dealing.
This shoe and discard tray were purchased to assist me in practicing blackjack at home. It's of good quality, with a good acrylic finish. The rolling weight isn't quite as heavy as a casino shoe, and you may need to tap the back of the shoe or rattle it every few hands to keep it going, but it's not a big enough issue to get in the way of dealing. There's no top, but that doesn't bother me. It's also worth noting that, despite being advertised as a 6-pack, it's actually a 3-pack. I believe you could fit 8 decks of cards in a deck shoe for baccarat.
This shoe was purchased to help me prepare for a baccarat audition at work. br>It's a good shoe, but the sliding wedge weight is too light in comparison to work shoes. This is significant because a heavier wedge would slide down and apply appropriate pressure to the remaining cards as they are drawn out. Extra cards may slip out unintentionally due to the lightness of the wedge provided.
If it fails, you might get one or half a deck more (6 1/2 or 7) and I'll change the review. The reason for the three stars is that it does not always want to slide forward when you take cards out, but I have found that moving the slider towards you slowly helps. This is adequate for my needs.
Shoe weight was broken when I received the product. It's not even worth my time to return because it would require finding a way to print a label and going to a UPS location. Save yourself the money and time - This product should be avoided at all costs.
This is a recreational shoe, not a working shoe. It's okay for casual use, but I wouldn't recommend it because the wedge is too light and the roller doesn't follow the cards well. I frequently have to pick up the back of the roller to press the cards against it. Pay the extra money for a real professional shoe if you plan on using it frequently.
This is fantastic! The wedge is nice and heavy, and it rolls easily. It simply does its job. br>br>However, I did notice a small, unseen plastic burr on the ramp where the card emerges. Smoothing it out with a sharp knife (or a file) took only a few seconds, and the cards now slide out smoothly.
This is a great deal, but the 6 deck shoe has a problem. The roller on the bottom of it tends to come out or become stuck, making it difficult for the cards to slide out easily. Aside from that, it's a great buy.
