How Our Score Is Calculated

Product Description

By entering your model number, you can make sure that this fits.
Wire brushes are ineffective at stripping, deburring, blending, finishing, polishing, cleaning, and removing coatings.
The proprietary 3M Ceramic Abrasive Grain blend ensures a high level of finish quality for the duration of the disc's life.
Coating removal and other high-loading materials benefit from the bristle spacing.
Even on complex parts, flexible bristles conform to contours for consistent finishes.
For multi-step finishing processes, the 3M Roloc attachment system allows for quick and easy disc change-out.

Questions & Answers

Is this a ten-pack or a single-pack? Some claim to have only received one! ?

Yes, a ten-piece set is available.

Will these fit new rotors for disc brakes?

All you need is aerosol brake cleaner to clean new disc brake rotors. Then, a few times, slam on the brakes hard.

These aren't your run-of-the-mill knock-offs
4/5

First and foremost, these are Roloc (White) Bristle Discs that are fine/extra fine. So don't expect them to be aggressive; I used them on an ATV to remove old gasket material from the aluminum head and cylinder. I didn't want the aggressive Roloc disks (Yellow, Green) because I was afraid they'd cut into the machine's surface. Scrape off the majority of the old gasket with your scraper. These are the last steps in the cleaning process. I was able to complete the project using only one disk. I gave them four stars because this is the first time I've used them and I'm not sure how long they'll last.

It was well worth the money! I bought these in the hopes that they would be better suited to what I do, and boy, were they! They eat through paint and gasket material like there's no tomorrow, and the disk itself shows no signs of wear! These are absolutely amazing and I use them on engines during the restoration process
5/5

Whereas I would have gone through 5 or 6 scotch style pads, I'm still on the first disk! br>br>Even though they are very aggressive against gaskets and paint, they are gentle enough to remove all of the paint from a soda pop can without damaging it or wearing it through! In conclusion, if you work on cars and frequently clean a variety of surfaces ranging from gasket surfaces to hard brake lines, get them! You will not be disappointed! br>br>This is a six-star product; I only wish the other grits were less expensive:.

These are very good for removing sealant or silicone from aluminum housings without removing material or damaging mating faces; they are expensive but very effective
5/5

Exceptional sub- For light cleaning, straight into the material works well. I wouldn't use it to remove a gasket because you'll be working on it all day.

In a die grinder, these are the bee's knees for removing gaskets
5/5

To put it another way, these are effective. The best combination of price and delivery - What is there not to like about this? This is where you should go if you require these. I even gave some to a neighbor for his projects, and his jaw dropped when I told him how much I spent! br>br>Creative+ paraphrase: I discovered after writing this initial review that I had purchased these for $15. It's no surprise that I feel like I made out like a bandit after paying 32 for 20 of them through Amazon Prime. I'm not sure how often that happens, but I was extremely fortunate to come across them at such an incredible price. Rolocs are Rolocs are Rolocs - They consistently rank among the best grinding, polishing, and sanding products available. Is this something you can use? Without a doubt. Is it true that they are pricey? It appears that they are now.

Keep your wits about you! The only "approved" product for removing debri from Subaru head gaskets is these white discs, which I purchased
5/5

In combination with a 2" Roloc disc pad holder and an angle air grinder from Harbor Freight tools, they performed admirably. The first photo shows the block surface before the debris was removed, and the second shows the block surface after it had been buff. It worked perfectly; I only wish I hadn't had to buy the whole box! lol ;.

However, I've used them to remove paint from fuel tanks and other similar jobs, and they work great
4/5

These were purchased to remove glued on gasket material from an aluminum block and heads, but they are far too abrasive for the task. I've used them to remove paint from fuel tanks and other surfaces, and they work great and last a long time; in fact, I'm still working my way through my first box. These are great if you don't have a critical aluminum mating surface that you'll never see again.
