It would be fantastic if the seller stated in the description that this set is extremely valuable to have in the sewing room. These three magnetic bowls are much more powerful magnetized holders for straight pins that are sold in the notions department of fabric stores or online, and I adore them. They were also a fantastic value for money. You can use them for the various pins you have, metal bobbins if you have them, thimbles, and so on; they're strong enough that a small pair of scissors can even attach to the base of the bowls so you don't have to look for them.
This stainless steel magnetic tray looks nice, and it appears to be sturdy enough for the job of holding screws, nuts, and other small parts. Mine, on the other hand, was damaged right out of the box. Instead of a protective box, the package came in a nylon bag. As a result, both stainless steel trays were severely damaged, with one of the corners bent backwards. How did a 4 pound piece of stainless steel end up in a nylon bag?.
If you put them to the side, they'll end up on the carpet, ready to stab me in the foot! These magnetic bowls have been a lifesaver for me. I also appreciate the fact that there are three of them, each of which is different in size. Use the two smaller ones that are close to the machines. On my cutting table, I keep the larger one. I strongly advise anyone who sews to get these.
I do a lot of my own repairs, and finding a loose screw, tool, or other small part is a pain. I can keep track of everything with this, and I don't have to worry about losing track of anything. Everything is kept in the trays by a powerful magnet. After that, when I'm working on machinery, I can quickly attach them to any location or angle. However, keep in mind that magnets and memory devices are incompatible. And, despite their diminutive size, these magnets are surprisingly powerful.
There'll be no more searching under the workbench for misplaced components!.
I used the small dish to store some of my die cuts so they wouldn't get misplaced, and it did a fantastic job of holding them in place.
I was looking for a way to stop losing small screws on a project, and this was exactly what I needed.
Once a month, I teach a card class, and these are perfect for storing any dies I might need. aids in the group's cohesion.
