Although I do not own a Rheinland hatchet, the specifications indicate it should fit. If not, it may be a little too
There is no fit for this
My impression is that Guatemala is the country. The leather is nice and the workmanship is excellent. As soon as I received it, it was unusually dry.

I consider it to be a very good It is a little small for a prandi hatchet (600g), and I purchased it for the purpose of mounting it on a prandi. There is no way it will fit in without squaring it up. As with most leather, it may stretch over time. ** This hatchet has a blade with a length of 4", a head with a length of 6", and a shaft with a length of 1". At the widest point of the eye, the eye is 3/8" thick. There is extra tension in the poll area of the sheath With a thicker poll than 1", this hatchet is a good choice. I think they are very nice quality, and I believe there is a difference in size due to their handcraft nature, but mine is quite small for my purpose. Edit
My hatchet is placed in the sheath with factory edge guards in the sheath after I gave it a soak in water. I let it dry overnight and it stretched nicely the next morning. There is just enough wiggle room to get in and out, but not so much that you cannot keep the feet steady. Ensures that the form is well fitted. After cleaning your leather, use leather lotion to seal it. I noticed a slight fade out of the color in a couple areas, but nothing too noticeable. That looks nice for a used tool, as it.
Nearly as much had to be spent on the sheath as on As soon as the mink oil glooped on, I turned a lighter tan color that lasted only for 30 seconds. As opposed to my 5 7/8" x 3 3/4" head, I tested it for fit before oiling it and it was a tight fit. I love it! The grapple and the mink oil were applied like there was no tomorrow in the process of getting it off the axe head. In photographs, you can see the lovely dark brown tone obtained from where the leaves were left. As for the handle, it was carefully flamed with a propane torch to bring out the grain on an otherwise featureless, bland hickory handle, which had been scraped of all lacquer. This is why it has been bathed in BLO as of late, and will continue to be. The handle was very dull and felt horrible, but we made it look and feel magnificent. With this wonderful sheath and a (now) wicked master, I give you my utmost respect My new axe has a sharp edge, and I can't be happier with it.
My purchase of the H&M was a good decision The holster for the whip and this sheath for the hatchet. Both of these are made from great leather. There seems to be a significant amount of strength in the rivets on this hatchet sheath. In order to use this sheath, I soaked it in sheep lanolin (as I do with all my leather items) and later put the stock, plastic blade protector on it and slid It was helped to stretch the sheath by using Lanolin and blade protector. Once I got rid of the rubber blade protector, the fit is spot on I can only think of one bad thing to say. The reason I took a star off is because of this. I find the snaps on the whip holster and the sheath to be rather loose. I didn't really see the need to return it because I bent it so it was tighter. I know how to do it and I didn't think it needed to be returned. The problem may be a systemic one for Health & Human Services I doubt it would have helped if it were D. Even after all these years, I still recommend the product.
In the beginning, I was looking forward to this cover because I have a lot of axes and hatchets, and I was testing it out to maybe order more in the future. In a nutshell Though well crafted, it would be impossible to fit an axe head under it. I am happy with the finish and color of the leather, which matches my choice of color very well. There is no pain at all - The leather is tanned and quite smooth, and it seems to be of a high quality We don't tan or work with leather, so we don't do grain cut (although I'm not an expert). I have noticed that the fastenings seem to be pretty well done, as well as the aged-looking wheels The brass finish was a great match for the leather. This piece really caught my eye on a 2. I had my hopes set Boys axe weighing 25 pounds, primarily used by Scouts and youth in scouting and other The axe head cover you've demonstrated is barely big enough for a hatchet head and nowhere close to being large enough for a large It's highly unlikely that you will be able to fit this over your head without hurting yourself or damaging the cover if your axe or hatchet weighs over 2 pounds. My only wish is that it were a bit bigger, or that they offered larger options I would most certainly buy it for the rest of our The cover has become the cover for our small camp hatchet that I primarily use when we have a fire in the backyard to reduce the amount of firewood we consume.
The craftsmanship on this piece is excellent! The leather is of high quality. It says it comes with a 101-year warranty, so I'm confident it will last. Slightly large for a hatchet, but not so big you have to be concerned. A belt loop that is suitable for tac belts and thick leather belts is provided.
Despite its lightweight design, this sheath is quite durable. The hatchet fits perfectly into my Swiss military axe. Camping will be a breeze with the belt loop, and I'm sure to utilize it Despite its smoothness and softness, the leather is also highly durable. Packable, so you can store it in your backpack or go bag. A 101-year warranty is great, I think that's a really good thing. It's worth the extra $5 if you opt for a canvas or thin leather sheath Put a few dollars on this one or else you will wish you had once you drop your hatchet and the edge cuts through the wall of your cheap canvas or thin leather A ten out of ten recommendation.
My axe had to be returned due to the incorrect size and I am having difficulty finding a sheath that fits it.
A great little hatchet sheath, I bought it so I would be able to carry my hatchet with me while clearing brush on my belt, in addition to having a better way of protecting The belt carrier sheath is great if you want to attach it to a belt. However, I would have preferred kydex, since it would be easier. would recommend this sheath, as it is well built and so far has proven to be effective.
