The description conformed to what I expected, so I was OK with it. The answer is yes. The red one was mine. I like it a lot. Your adjustment fits well and snugly with the tool. Often has the ability to pivot from one position to another. nice thing about it is that it elevates the tool a little higher than a regular sheath, allowing it to fit in pockets easier. The tool is mounted on a belt, but it does not have a cover, so if you have muffin top or a lot of abdominal muscle, it might feel uncomfortable mounted on your belt. The warning has been given to you.
For the past three weeks, I have had the sheath in my possession. There are varying materials out there for my Gerber Suspension Multitool sheaths, including canvas, leather, and various plastics. I have tried several from 3rd party vendors so far. As far as I have seen, this one has what I consider to be the best combination of functionality, durability, and comfort.
Unit is well made, and it securely holds the multitool - good overall value. Although it is difficult to disassemble when fully inverted, the tool is still easy to remove with one hand. The belt clip is wide and sturdy, and it's easy to place and remove the sheath with one hand. The only thing that could be better is the design. There is a small extension of the multiplier over the As a result of the clip placement, the top of the tool sits an inch or two above the belt line, which can poke your skin, especially when you're seated snugly like in a Overall, this is an excellent product.
My multitool was still in the case on the ground when I bumped into the side of a doorway, felt a snap, and found it in the sheath on the ground. It was loose within the sheath, as if it came loose when bumping into the doorframe. I thought of super-gluing it back together, but it slipped in and out as it did. I am not sure if the plastic, which was cheap, could hold up against the steel tool it is holding, or to the fabric sheath that comes with the multitool at all.
The product is well designed and fits perfectly in the hand. The design is awesome and the concept is fantastic. Suspended multitools require a sturdy and rigid case to protect them from being damaged. It is great that you can adjust the tension.
This is the new option and it works great, if only I'd found it a few years back. In my edc I am adding this.
There is an adjustable tension setting so you can select how tight or loose you want your Gerber to fit into it. This clip does not require you to loop it through your belt. It clips on and does not The car, which I must crawl under as part of my job, stays in place. The sheath for my Gerber multitool is the best I've ever had. It is the third sheath I have purchased for it, all from different companies, and this one is by far the best I have ever used.
It is comfortable. This is usable. It is the cheap holster that comes with the Gerber Suspension multitool which is the biggest problem with it, as with most others. One has never lasted longer than a couple months for me before it became completely As it wears down, the elastic that holds it to your belt loses elasticity, and the Velcro that holds it shut ceases to function.
Place this Kydex sheath in your hand. It is very easy to use. Gerber tool is ideal Having the tool clipped or unclipped from the belt is easy and comfortable, and it hangs just far enough from the body to not interfere. As well as being This book is highly recommended. The $30 you will spend is well worth it. Due to the poor quality of the holster that came with it, I had actually stopped carrying my Gerber. Here's a Clip and a Video As for carrying a sheath, I have begun to carry it daily. With a multitool in your pocket, life is a whole lot easier.
I didn't wear the stock sheath that came with the tool for more than a few months before it failed. Thus, I hummed and hawed, "Man, $20 for a sheath for a tool that costs $30 seems a little steep. " My bro! "*br**br*! It was totally worth the effort! A variety of adjustments can be made to the tool, including the angle of the dangle I wear it all day as I crawl around all sorts of mechanical stuff. It's comfortable and secure on my belt, too. My Gerber has not been lost since I got it.
