Big creases run down the front of the bins where the front and underside of the plastic mold are joined. They were filthy, warped, scratched, and one of them had been chewed up in a corner. br>br>They appear to be sturdy enough, and because I also purchased the dividers that run down the middle, I was able to reduce the front and back warping. This forces them to return to their original position. However, it appears that they are selling a dollar store version of the bins for the same price as the original high-quality bins. I believe these will have to be returned to Amazon.
These bins were ordered to replace some Husky brand bins that I had purchased to store various plumbing supplies that I had accumulated over the years. These are far better because they are far more sturdy and stiffer, which is important when stacking bins on top of one another - The previous ones buckled, and they could only hold one bin at a time. I also like that they are available in a variety of colors and sizes, allowing them to be used in storage units that are color-coded by function. Unless you don't require a lot of strength, do yourself a favor and avoid cheap alternatives. Spend the money once, and you'll have storage for the rest of your life.
Exceptional! But. Getting anything out of the bin when the units are stacked is extremely difficult. My hands are small for a woman. When buying stackables, make sure you get at least 7". Unless you plan on using these to store similar items, the 5" isn't ideal. One bin might contain screws, while the other might contain nails. We also bought the 16. They are 15x7" tall and fantastic. This is a very high-quality product that is well worth the money.
It's quite good. It's sturdy and allows me to keep track of my workshop. It is, however, a little pricey, in my opinion. Similar containers are available at Home Depot for a lower price from Husky.
Akro- Mils bins are part of a select group of name-brand bins that are superior to all others in terms of quality. Akro- Mils bins are designed to be durable and maintain their shape. It's a double bonus to find cases of them on Amazon for a fraction of the retail price. When I come across a good deal on a case, I buy several. They're the ideal size for storing anything or keeping any room, garage, or patio tidy, measuring 11'' X 11'' X 5'' tall. Buying them in a case of six for $36 is the best deal. 00 (approximately $6. Ceilblue (at a cost of oo each). Look at the prices of all the colors; some are less expensive than others.
Edit: The return went smoothly, and the replacement was delivered in perfect condition. br>br>I was disappointed to discover that four of the six bins were damaged and scuffed when they arrived. Several of them couldn't be stacked because they were warped out of shape. I've ordered a lot of Akro bins over the years, and I know these bins should be much more sturdy and durable (especially considering the price).
Those have made me very happy. br>I like how they vary in depth as well as width. As a result, I'd be able to coordinate both: I have regular metal racks and Ikea book shelf cases (which I use to store supplies). Excellent quality, and they're simple to reorganize and stack in any configuration you want. br>Quality is clearly reflected in the price! I would strongly suggest it.
With the exception of one, they were all in excellent shape. We'll keep one despite the broken edge because it's for our chickens. They're not as thick as I'd like, but they're for laying boxes, and I think they'll work fine. I'm not sure about the tools and parts.
