Does the grip of the 14-inch wrench expand wide enough to be used to unscrew pipe nuts (I need a wrench large enough this time)?

When it comes to wrench sizes, what is the maximum jaw opening? Consider I want each wrench to be on the largest square piece of stock I can find. ?

As of this writing, there are the following pipe sizes 1 - #3810 Half an inch. The 2inch code is #3812. A couple of 2in. bronzes #3814. 2 - #3818 Half an inch. Item #3824 of 3 in.

Is the grip on the 24" wrench able to expand to a certain width? There has to be a way to cut down on the pipe nuts that are 4". ?

This wrench was a bit of an overkill for me. There's no way that big of a counter top can fit under my sink and it's too heavy for me to handle. Rather than clamping some pipe to a table to cut it to size, I used it to clamp some steel pipe to a table for cutting. To work, you have to hold it tightly. If you wish.
