The item is both made in China and it is from chastisement. It's a wrench that I use daily during the course of a week for 40 hours. You can make sure you have the appropriate length with the wrench as it comes with 3 lengths (threads are NPT) which makes it very convenient. It's been over a year and a half since I purchased it, and it only has surface rust due to the fact that I worked at a refinery that used brackish water. It is that, and the fact that I sometimes have to adjust the Knud nut while twisting pipe more than my rigid valves, that is my only complaint. Unlike bungees and knots, the tether loop swivels so it can never knot up when I'm in a tight spot at high elevations which can cause stress if it's bungeed and knotted. Bottom line, I absolutely love this wrench, and I don't know why, but I don't know how to describe it. The proof of its value has been shown over and over In addition, I have yet to be made to suffer, and my Sprink Brothers want me to be punished.
The last few weeks, I have used it for my plumbing project - Thanks for the info! A lighter weight and more flexible handle were appealing features. Sadly, the steel rivet holding the bottom tooth had broken and the tool could no longer be used. It is clear that this rivet is a weakness of the Ridgid pipe wrenches are among the tools that I own and I have never had a problem with them.
There's a lot of value in these cheater pipe wrenches. In most cases I now only need two of the same size pipe wrenches instead of a bunch of different sizes.
I broke the wrench head in less than a month of use. On the head of the pipe wrench, the metal is thinner than that of most others. **The jaw snapped at the point where it bends before it stops. It is not possible to find a replacement in.
This system has been used by me for the past three years in the oil field. I love it so much. Allows you to reach tight locations when needed and to increase the ease with which you can retrieve items from the truck without walking back and forth.
After finding my ridged, I went to my room. Now that I have both, I like this one better since the jaws are smaller and therefore can fit in tight places more easily.
I have used all of mine.
I bought this as a gift for my husband for Christmas, and Delivery is fast and at the best price.
