Eight mm
The short (stubby) wrenches will fit well, but they will also work with any wrench.

It would be nice if the slots were wider. The answer from a member on Amazon indicates that these organizers are compatible with combination open-top types of appliances On one end there's a ratcheting gearwrench box wrench, and on the other end there's a cutoff It took me two of these (1 for sae, one for metric), but I found that the gearwrench part of the combo wrench is too thick to fit into the organizer without cutting or modifying the slots in the plastic.
It's impossible for me to stop buying them! For the Metric sets, I use Red, and for the SAE sets, I use Black. There are almost all of my wench sets in one. This is flexible plastic with little wrench gripping nubs inside that allow you to carry this box on the go. This will be ideal for a travel case, or a cart that gets rolled around frequently. Also a great storage solution for wrench sets in a drawer that contain too many pieces, and you need to keep them from breaking up while still keeping their shape. It is true that some sets have wrenches that are just too thin, or too fat to fit the holders perfectly
but I have been able to get around 95% perfect fits with the wrenches in my sets I had a problem with some of the raised panel wrenches in certain sizes, but I was able to work with those, too. In the event that you move your wrenches a lot, these holders may likely be what you need. Please read

My GearWrench Stubby Ratcheting Wrench set is ideal for this. For my full-length wrenches, I have the same Allen wrenches designed by Ernst Manufacturing in either red or They complement one another very well. When I write in metric units, I use black, and when writing in SAE units, I use red. Likewise, my Craftsman socket organizers are color-coded so that black indicates metric measurements and gray indicates SAE measurements. There are some differences between the two, however, black is always metric, and that is what is used more often A nice quality of the plastic is how soft and pliable it is. There are no problems taking the wrenches out since they fit tightly. A wrench organizer could be made out of this material. The plastic ones do a much better job than the metal ones that don't It's just a matter of grabbing the set and going.
My husband and I really hope the manufacturer takes notice because the craftsmanship and quality of the texturing are exceptional. These, along with some of the additional appointments like a foldable handle and a notch on the handle for hanging, are all valuable additions. Here's the problem (see pic) wrenches 8mm to 1/2" (in my case) have barely any squeeze tension on them and are basically just laying around. In situation where the set is tipped to the right or left, they will fall over all the way in the direction they were tipped. will not fall out because they remain deducted two stars for this otherwise they'd have gotten five. Fix this, Ernst!.
In this organizer, the wrenches are snapped into the holder so that they won't fall out. Here's what you need if you need a wrench organizer to transport a set of wrenches to the work site. A simple plastic tool that just holds the wrenches in place and is just the right tension for the job. It is necessary to have at least several wrench organizers to efficiently store all of the different types of There is a specific purpose and design for every organizer, so pay close attention to them. The ones I have are for transporting wrenches to projects and organizers that stay in the tool chest all the time. If you need an organizer for tools on the go so that they are organized, then this is the organizer for you. It is also used on my box's short wrenches, so make sure you.
My husband, who does not like the idea of having to keep everything in the small pouch that they came in, bought these for his Kobalt stubby wrench set. As the wrenches are just a little too skinny to fit on this rack, they cannot be secured. In spite of this, the product has excellent quality, as it is flexible yet strong at the same time. There is a thin spot near the rack on the top handle which is designed to make it easier to cut, for example, if you want to remove it to store toolboxes (which I will do). As a result of this product being 5 stars I will be buying more to fill the stubbys.
The plastic is not hard or cheap. I bent the plastic with my thumb, so you can see it's a soft, pliable plastic (see my thumb bending it in the photo). Plastic of this type has the advantage of being able to grab and mold itself to different wrench sizes, making it the perfect choice for wrench organizers. As soon as I installed my wrench set on them, they fit snugly without sliding around and look fantastic. It is important to keep your garage organized in order to remain happy.
