Questions & Answers

Is this method applicable to magnesium pivots?

That would seem to be the case

Do you have a set of these?

I don't know if this seller has sets available, but I was told they did. At harbour freight, I found a very nice set.

Would these work with torx star security ?

You cannot install a security knob there because there is no recess.

The tip of this tool is magnetic, isn't it? Hey, Todd? I appreciate you taking the time. ?

This is not the case. It worked on almost any screwdriver I had. I bought a magnetizer for $7 and used it for most screwdrivers.

For T27 fasteners, this is the tool to use
5/5

As it is used primarily for working on Stihl chainsaws, their cases are held together by T27 screws, which are sometimes recessed or otherwise positioned in such a way that they are difficult to reach with a conventional screwdriver or to apply sufficient torque with it It is shaped like a driver. By having a long shank, the long shank is easy to access recessed fasteners and the handle of the tool offers good control over It is a sturdy tool, and the handle makes it comfortable to use, and the bit ends fit tightly on the fasteners. As a result of the high quality of this tool, I expect it to last for a long time in a home mechanic's hands. It is a philosophical quibble that I have with this tool. In spite of you claiming that Klein Tools makes most of their tools in the United States, I was disappointed to learn that this particular tool is not made in the United States. It would have been a bit better for me if they had found a way to make that tool here instead of in Slovenia, where this tool was made. I harbor no ill will toward its citizens or businesses, but I would have preferred it if it could have been made Slovenia was one of the things I learned about while on this trip. was able to acquire an excellent tool for my collection, as well as a little bit of information about an interesting country.

The results are not bad at all
3/5

As far as quality goes, the product seems quite good so far, and I plan on using them at work quite often. I would like the handle to be different, but that's the only thing I can think of. At work, I use many Torx key handles, and these are by far the quickest and easiest to use. However, the size of the handle doesn't feel great when tightening down screw heads under higher torque levels. Since my hands are average size for a male, I would prefer to have a larger handle. It lasted about 40 torx head screws before the head snapped clean off. *UPDATE* It lasted about 40 torx head screws. At work, the tip was holding up well with little wear. However, after tightening a T15 Torx around 40 times, the tip snapped off. I used the small end for a while until about 15 screws in that side snapped as well, so all in all I would recommend this tool to an occasional user who uses it a few times in its lifetime but not someone who plans to use it on a regular basis.

The 5 does not get along well with it
4/5

Lots of these are being bought by those who do solenoids for the VCT on the five. I discovered that the tool on the drivers side would have been more useful if it were longer by 4 inches. When it was at its current height, it hit the power steering reservoir bracket in such a way that part of the handle had to be ground off. However, that wasn't enough for me. I understand that the tool is not the correct tool for this project, but it is not the tool for this assignment.

The handle is scratched and the printing is worn off
4/5

When I opened the package and removed the stickers that were all over the tool, I discovered that the white KLEIN lettering and the T27 at the top had all rubbed There is no way Klein could have fallen into the China trap. As someone who has used Klein tools for years, I can attest to the fact that they are or were the industry standard in quality USA-made Let me know how it holds up in the Trade Guys strict environment, I'll let you know. The tool will be used for constructing and repairing Stihl saws.

Compared to screw drivers, this type is better
5/5

The one coming out of the side of the handle doesn't seem to allow much torque, so the one coming out of the middle isn't much use to me. If the tool is broken or the screw head is stripped out, you won't be able to use all the leverage. This style works better than the screw driver style, so it's a positive experience.

The tools are nicely made
4/5

This Klein Torx t-nut is made of stainless steel Though the handles are a bit smaller than those on Stihl's handle drivers, they are nice-looking. Also, there is a torque mark on the side of the handle in areas where access, clearance, or torque may be necessary. Having used Klein tools for many years, I have never been disappointed.

This is a poor quality product
5/5

I know it's Klein's tool, but what else can I say. The thing was what I was looking for to make maintenance a little easier on my Stihl power tools. Those two short torx on the handle are nice. The Stihl factory tools that came with the Chainsaw, Pole Saw, Blower, and the Combi-Mower are all well made. The use of power tools can be uncomfortable due to their awkward design. Stihl tools don't need much maintenance, but I like to take them apart for cleaning and lubrication every now and then.

This tool will last almost a lifetime due to its two T27s at its two ends
5/5

It is built to last an eternity since it comes with two T27's and has an excellent price, it is an expensive tool. It is more expensive than Sear's products but is still better than other brands. My son is an electrician who told me his tools cost over $5,000. supply store would tell you I got a great deal ,,,just go check it out for yourself, I am very happy about it.
