This grip is the perfect match for the AR style rifle. My purpose for getting this was one specific reason only. As the factory didn't do a very good job on the grip on my AR15, I wanted to tighten it up. My Allen wrench was too short to turn inside the grip, but I had the right Allen wrench with me. We were able to solve the problem this way. Those interested in using it for this purpose may find that it is compatible with a Franklin armory lower and with a PSA lower with a Magpul.
When I adjusted the truss rods on my electric guitars, I had to make the usual little adjustments on the neck and body Allen wrenches that were shaped were not the best option. The length of this tool allows it to completely clear the headstock and avoid any interference with the strings and I've fitted it to both my 1989 MIJ Strat and my 2008 MIM FSR Strat, so it should fit any other modern Fender. You can buy guitars and basses from different manufacturers (including Squier, Jackson, Charvel, EVH, Gretsch, etc. ).
In order to use my 9mm AR pistol properly, I needed to change the grip. It is too wide to fit all the way down a socket hex. We can only solve this problem this way.
This is an item that is exactly as described, no mystery there. The AR grip has a hex bolt that I can access easily by using this tool.
The moment I realized how to properly adjust the depth of a router bit while it is mounted to a table (either under the table or by removing the router from the table), I had an "AHA" The router adjustment was attached to the top with a 3/16" bolt. My next step was to mark the position of the hole in the Router Housing that aligned with that bolt. I then drilled it out of Thanks to this wrench, I am now able to adjust the height of the router bit from the top of the table. By not having to buy a router lift I was able to save hundreds of dollars.
Standard strata owners should not be without this! The tool needs to be wiped down with oil once it comes out of the package (as does any tool), but it is durable and sized right. Since the extension is long enough to fit into the channels of the truss rod while the strings are still on and tensioned, neck adjustments can be made while the instrument is being set up following a re-tuning A simple step to converting a string to an array. This hex key can be tucked right into your case or bag after use, so you will not have to carry a full set of hex keys around. You will not be disappointed with your purchase!.
Although I doubt I will ever wear this T-shirt It isn't often that I need to handle an Allen wrench, but when I replace parts on my Regency freestanding propane stove, which requires an Allen wrench for adjusting the flame, I must use a long 3/16 Allen wrench. The service call would have cost $130 if it hadn't cost less than $5. When I tried using a standard Allen wrench, I didn't have enough leverage to adjust the screw. With this tool, it was easy to accomplish the job.
