The past few years I've had it and I am very pleased with it. When new, it needs to be lightly filed on the edges so it won't grab your papers. Having to do it with the new ones for a long time.

The first time I brought this to taping/mudding dry wall, my friend made fun of me. Soon he was using it when I wasn't watching, so if you are doing large projects, you need one of these in your arsenal. As if a third hand were available.

This does not apply. The tape you need for taping sheetrock must be there. The fact is, if you want to be a professional or do a small project, you have to have it. Take the time to save your time.

Good craftsmanship is evident in this product. As a result, I had to hire someone to do my drywall installation, as it was simply too much for me. This tool was a gift I gave him and he loved it a lot.

I find it very useful. Over all it's a very handy tool, and I would buy it again. However, I am not very fond of how the tape comes out of the holder through the "feeder". If it's ripped off, you have to feed it back through almost every time.
