Product Description

A correct flange height can be achieved during a repair or remodel
Your existing flange will need to be topped with spacers
Ringed flanges made of PVC, ABS, cast iron, and stainless steel can be used with the adapter
It has been designed to snap in half, allowing you to fit the spacer beneath the flange ring on your raised toilet and support your toilet bolts simultaneously
For the installation of new toilet flanges, it is also used as a layout tool

Questions & Answers

What does this measure for three inch sewer drain pipes?

A short answer to this question is yes. Basically, the hole or tube on a new flange is smaller than 3", which means that it will work with almost any main sewer line size. I expect it will work with sewer lines between 3" and 4", and it may even work with sewer lines as small as 2". (Not sure if it's 5 or 6). Due to the fact that toilets themselves don't actually have outlets that exceed two inches, the toilet tube doesn't have to be the same size as the sewer pipe (and is undersized in order to fit into more pipe sizes). As all of the SetRite toilet traps have 5" diameters on them anyway, any 'objects' larger than this won't pass through it, so the set-rite tube isn't going to restrict or affect water

What is the concrete slab requirement or can the product only be used in wood subfloors?

You could set- You can use Rite Products on wood floors or concrete If you are drilling into concrete, you will need to predrill the holes with a 5/16" masonry bit. You will also need to drill deep enough so that screws won't It's fine to use the screws that come within the kit or to

If you buy two separately, why is this less expensive than buying two in a package?

Third party sellers usually create listings of this nature in an effort to confuse buyers into purchasing the item. Colors that are part of limited editions are another scam they like to use.

Do you have a reinforced wax ring that you can use?

My plumber once told me a story of how he bridged the gap to accommodate a new floor with two reinforced wax rings. He blew it out after a while and it When you use the extender kit, you are able to create a solid extension and you only need an industry standard wax ring to seal it.

This is a terrific way to raise a Using this kit you can raise a flange to its proper height above ground level so that a normal-sized wax ring can be used and you can ensure no future leaks as the toilet chute is fully integrated inside the extended Earlier this year, my toilet tank ruptured, and thus I had to replace the entire unit
5/5

My first observation when I removed the old toilet was that its flange was about 1/2" below the floor because the builder installed a tile floor after the flange was placed on the subfloor, and they cut double wax rings to "bandage" up the That leak would have occured eventually, despite the fact that it had held up for It took me a little while to plan and install this flange, especially since I had to remove the old screws holding down the old plastic flange, position this one in place, and set the toilet on it, before I screwed it in to ensure everything lined up correctly. Tip I did not use their markings at exactly 3/9, I twisted it a little so that the holes for the toilet bolts had some slop instead of hitting the stops at the exact It is important to line up the holes in the gasket, red spacer, and yellow flange (do not drill through them). Make sure that this is positioned in the middle of the drain, and that the toilet chute is in the middle of the Next, I packed wax around the outside of the yellow tube below the gasket in order to ensure that no water will climb up the outside of the yellow tube from the drain and reach the gasket. (Probably unnecessary, In spite of the fact that the screws are self-tapping, I predrilled holes through the old plastic flange (actually, it isn't necessary, but it just makes sense). You should not overtorque them, and they should be tightened in a criss-cross pattern There are cross-shaped patterns in each A normal ring size, not reinforced, without a flange, just a basic wax ring was used.

A flawless performance
5/5

I did the job perfectly. In my restroom, I retiled the floor recently, which raised it about 3/4 inches. The floor is higher than normal for a tile floor, but that is due to the self leveling material I used to level the floor, along with the uncoupling membrane I applied on top of it. I had my toilet flange sit about 3/4 of an inch below the surface of the floor as a result. I was recommended by a local plumber that I knew to buy this toilet flange extension kit to solve that problem and it worked beautifully. In this case, I had to use a half-inch My toilet flange was lifted to the ideal height of about 1/4 inch above my finished floor by this, as well as the main yellow flange. It took me about five minutes to install and worked perfectly. I was able to reinstall my toilet without the use of extra thick wax rings or worse, stacking the wax rings one on top of the other, which is a no-no.

The plan is decent, but it needs to be rewritten
4/5

Is it just me or are regular toilet bolts not fitting into My new toilet was not going to fit the bolts it came with because the head was rounded and the flanges were too shallow for the bolt head thickness. My next problem was using plastic bolts, and the bolt paths for those were too narrow. For the plastic bolts, I had to whittle off a millimeter or two of their diameter (so I could feed them into place). It seems rather odd that they restrict the bolt holes/path so much in this model. Please be warned as well It has a diameter of over seven inches, including the flange and spacers. There is no spacer that will plug in the hole that I have (1/2" below flush with floor) because the original toilet flange was a mere 7" long, and I tiled up so close to it that the spacers won't fit. Because I don't have much other choice, I've cut some of the meat away from the 1/2" spacer at two spots of its outer edge, so I can fit it In retrospect, I wish I had done it earlier in the process, since I would have been able to plan for it, so let this be a cautionary tale for everybody else. It would be nice if you would purchase and install this kit before putting down new tile you should also If the bolt nut was inserted before the yellow flange was screwed down, you might need to insert the bolts a couple of times before you tighten them.

A superb product that solves problems associated with toilet leaks
5/5

During the renovation of our bathroom, the toilet flange ended up 2 inches below the floor tile. We installed two wax rings to cover the gap between the toilet flange and the Before the color of the tile and grout around this setup changed after 2 years, it lasted 2 years. A set of instructions popped up when I was surfing the net Basically, I found this product by accident while searching for solutions on the Internet, and it is the best product I have come across in a very long time! I had no trouble installing it myself in about an hour, and the result is a regular wax ring installed on the toilet. Rings cannot be stacked, rubber extenders cannot be used. Nothing to hope for or to pray for. Thank you for setting up this page As a result of rite-fit, I have a standard 3 inch toilet flange at floor level that is gas-tight. There is a need for big box stores to carry this product. Currently, they have a few items In order to use the waxless rings, you must- A device that extends the range of a network Set-backs are few and far between My experience has shown me that Rite is a quality product. I tried all the other stuff at the big box store. Whenever a bathroom is renovated, this product should be used. I found the process of installing this product pretty straight forward. The hardest part was pulling the toilet in and out. Because I wasn't sure how much extra height I would need on the existing mounting flange, I decided to purchase the expander kit (1/4 to 1 5/8 inch). With the kit, I had 4 rings of various heights, and I was able to stack them flush against the tile surface without any issues. The yellow flange was a little more challenging to screw in because I was drilling into concrete. You might want to drill some pilot holes into your concrete subfloor with a titanium drill bit first before installing the included screws. On top of the yellow flange, any wax ring will fit perfectly. You do not have to use a strengthened Thank you Set-Elite Systems for creating a fantastic product! I wish my contractor knew about this product as I would have saved myself a lot of frustration and time. I salute you!.
