I expect it will work with sewer lines between 3" and 4", and it may even work with sewer lines as small as 2". (Not sure if it's 5 or 6). Due to the fact that toilets themselves don't actually have outlets that exceed two inches, the toilet tube doesn't have to be the same size as the sewer pipe (and is undersized in order to fit into more pipe sizes).
