A bathroom window required several layers of caulk to be removed. This was a poor application of caulk that was extremely hard and, at times, difficult to reach (I am 5' 6" tall). was a little hesitant about the weight and strength of the stripping tool at first, but, now that the project is complete, I'm looking at the final results and telling you how it came out. As a result, this tool was useful. Additionally, it has blue "smoothing" tools that make it easy for you to edit the photos. Despite my window having some very uneven edges, I was able to get the job done with this tool. Using my finger a few times was the only solution. Several things are about to change in my life I am planning to caulk my bathtub (which has a more even/smooth edge) with these tools, and I am confident they will make it easier.

When in place, the rubber pointer looks to work simply enough for a $10 item. However, it was difficult to change the size of the rubber pointer. In spite of this, a wet finger & glove may prove helpful There is no instruction booklet included with this set of accessories, except for paper towels. Beginners are ok with this.

It's not necessary for you to take this course if you are a pro or skilled home owner. I used to be skilled when I was young, but not anymore. There was a reorganization of the project A kitchen sink needs to be caulked. The metal scraper can be useful for prep work but should be followed up with a screwdriver or chisel for durability. I ran a white silicone pad before a bead. It was difficult to keep caulk from smearing all over because I applied too much caulk. When caulking the silicon pad, it was hard to remove the caulk and required a lot of effort to clean. Using my wet finger, I completed the final finish of the counter top and sink after removing the excess glue. A blue scraper helped me remove most of the remaining caulk smearing, then I used a chisel to remove the remainder. I am pleased with the final outcome. Was it worth the money I spent on it? Not at all.

Buying this tool was the best decision I ever made. I enjoyed taking the old caulking off so much since it was so easy. We were able to reseal it so quickly and easily due to the device.

The tool worked really well for scraping the old caulking out of it. However, even though I used my finger to smooth the caulking after installing it, I think my finger did a better job than my hands. Just spreading out the caulking or scraping it off of the tool seemed to do the job. My use of it might not have been correct. They're really not very good and there isn't much information in them. The video I watched on the internet convinced me to go back online.

My main purpose in using this tool was to smooth out caulk, not to dig Taking the time to clean an excess of caulk up is made easier with the rubber tips.

I can smooth the caulk with my finger just fine. The biggest negative is that once the caulk is on the end of the tool, it is nearly impossible to clean out the caulk from under the different sizes of white.
