I use the "fine-cut" blade for all my cutting My first step is to remove excess P-based liquid with a standard-cut Surform In order to finish off / smooth things off, I tex the bases of my skis before I cut with the fine cut. The fine-cut blade itself has almost identical features to the standard cut, but has less relief in the crenulations and definitely cuts more slowly, which is what I was looking for.
I liked this product a lot for taking off my large hat.
