The situation depends. It depends on what kind of sign you are talking about, but if the spikes are thin, It should be sufficient to use a mallet. My recommendation is to go with the 32 oz if your sign has thick wooden spikes. As well as the sign, you have to take into account what will be the terrain where the sign is going to be driven. It would be best to use the heavier version if the soil was hard.
The rubber surface on a rubber mallet can be damaged if it is used to drive metal nails.

Due to this rubber mallet, I am able to more accurately strike the gofers when they jump, and the softer surface allows me to daze them rather than make their heads This is a highly recommended book.
Evidently something very wrong is going on in my life, for I feel the need to share an opinion about something that's made out of fiberglass and rubber, and is used to break things. Basically, this works as a mallet for what I intended, and what I really like about it is that the fiberglass handle is very comfortable, and it feels so much better than the cheap wooden handles of other mallets I've used in the past. As a mail it to my life owner, I am very concerned about sharing this on Amazon. I have purchased multiple mail it to my life. My outlook on life seems to need evaluating, but it does what it is supposed to do, and is an upgrade from the crappy mallets I In the event that you need a mallet, this is what you need, and it will not leave you with It was a pleasure reading this to you. What an honor it is for me to read a review about mallets. I am glad you enjoyed it. I'm so angry!.
In order to test out my leather hole punches with it, I bought it. This thing has literally been beat up to death and it has held up better than I ever imagined it would. The problem is that I make so many hand made mouse pads that I am pounding holes all day sometimes that I needed It is very comfortable in my hands, and I have been using it for hours at a time and it doesn't bother me in the slightest. I am very happy with my purchase, and if you are looking for something durable and a bit longer, this may be ideal. It's a 5 out of 5 star rating. This is a highly recommended product.
I am glad I bought this product. My rubber mallet helped me flatten cinder blocks into a layer of compacted sand, and it has worked well. In addition to delicate pavers, I've used it on delicate tile, and none of the tiles have cracked. Despite how much abuse I've put it through, it still looks brand new. Normally, I would expect the mallet head to wear out and look chewed up with abuse. This gun feels great in my hand with the right amount of weight, and it rests perfectly in my hand with the center of gravity in the right place. The thing is pretty heavy, but I haven't felt sore after using it for several hours at a time. It also manages to absorb the impact, so I don't feel I'm getting uncomfortable vibrations after hitting the pavers or cinder blocks. My grip is pretty strong, too, so I'm not hurting myself as much as I should. Considering the price at which this rubber mallet is available, it's free if you think one will assist you with whatever task you're working on. It is a tool I have never used before, and I may not need it again for years, but the rubber mallet was a great purchase to help with this specific job, and I have no regrets over picking up something I might not use very frequently again any time soon. Dude, you can do it.
With this Tekton mallet, I am edging my lawn in various parts of Florida with 80 feet of plastic edging. A lightweight and tough mallet like this has truly come in handy for me. Due to the nature of this project, the mallet gets drenched and dirty. This tool has a cushioned handle so my hands do not slip, and a cushioned head so I do not damage surfaces Although it has endured hot sun, mud, rain, clay, and multiple cleaning sessions with the garden hose, my mallet has retained its original look despite 30 days of use.
The price is very reasonable for the quality of this hammer. Having a rubber mallet in your toolbox is a must. It has a dual use as it has a white face (non-marking) and a black side A soft face can be used on wood as well as metal without causing damage. I like the way the grip feels secure and comfortable. I used this mallet for leveling flagstones due to its large face and it let me hit my target in every swing. It would be a good idea to I would appreciate it if you could let me know if this review was helpful by clicking the “Helpful” button below it.
Mallet that is both functional and affordable. I have found the grip to be comfortable, the weight feels just right, and my experience has been that it doesn't dent when striking a work piece. There is no non-smoking version of the black version (the only one I could order at the time) You may however expect to see a black ring or smudge if you hit a surface with a marking mallet. You can sand the marks off if you want, but be careful when using it on a completed item. Here is an example of two marks made by this mallet, as shown in the attached picture. The mallet serves the purpose it is advertised for exactly the way it should, but if you will be using it on finished surfaces, make certain you get one that is non-damaging The alternative would be to mark I've updated to A new non-toxic product is now available from Tekton There is a version of this mallet that has markings (white). Please use this form if you need one, but not a When you are marking with a mallet, pick either white or black/white.
