It's a great hammer for all kinds of smashery. I imagine myself as Thor as I swung it above the world of things in need of being smashed.
Previously, I only owned a 10 lb hammer, and that was just way too big for most tasks. There's no need to switch over to a different machine for smaller jobs (or tighter jobs). Since it's a 5 star rating, I felt strange giving it five stars. This is just a hammer, after all. Generally speaking, the handle is great, it s weighted nicely (as much as a hammer can be properly weighted), and it feels very sturdy. It hammers well, as It doesn't really bother me that it is a hammer, so docking a star didn't feel right since I have no complaints.
It has been quite easy for me to break up the trunks of these large trees into firewood using a tree spike, as I have quite a number of them in the back yard. I cannot make firewood with a hatchet because it is too dangerous, but it is easy and safe enough for the kids to use. A saw or an axe require far more time and effort than this. Neither the spike nor the hammer were exactly what I needed, but I highly recommend them for any homeowner.
The blacksmithing set was just what I was looking for. A rounding hammer over 2 inches and for the price is impossible to match, nor was I able to locate anything that was up to par. It weighs 5lbs. As if it were slushy, the 4lb model moves that glowing heat like it's fluid. Having a bullet nose like that really spreads it out and I'm sure it is capable of blowing out slabs, studs, or any other demolition task requiring I enjoy the length of the gloves and how they feel when worn bare or gloves. Besides being made in Vietnam, it also has the advantage of being cheap. Because of the 1960s, we owe them a lot.
Reviewers convinced me to purchase it, and I was delighted to find out how well it worked. You can chop large logs and kindling so fast and easily with this that it becomes fun. I do not have to bend so far over my laptop, which is also good for my back. I recommend this product and am very happy with.
The heavy weight makes one handed swinging on tent stakes possible while maintaining a short stance. It was easy to drive spikes in rocky soil with 12 inch diameter. After two taps to the side, the stakes fall out for good once more. It is a quality mini sledge with heavy weight that will save you time and frustration.
In the hand, it feels solid and it is easy to handle. I used a crowbar and a power drill to rip out the entire kitchen using this tool. This was a great experience.
