Fencing is a big part of what I do. There is a lot to say. It works just as well as the tool I already have, but I liked the looks of this one, There are three different sizes of holes at the tail end of the tassel. My opinion is that the pivot end has a hole that is a bit too big. There is a short end to the tee It took about 200 clips for the plastic handle to disintegrate. The clips were pulled out without a full wrap around the barb wire. It is a tool I will continue to use when it is required, but it does not excite me as much as I had anticipated.
This tool took a little getting used to at first, but it became second nature to me once I became familiar with it. My neighbor were using a straight nail to help me and so we had a little competition to see who could finish the job first. Unfortunately, I lost because I don't have the strength in my hands that a man does, but this tool is SO much easier than using.
YouTube has some really cool short videos, but it does take a few tries to get it working correctly. You'll find it extremely useful once you have it down.
Making it this way saves me a lot of time. We are able to do this.
I liked it a lot.
I am impressed with the tool. While there is a small learning curve, it is a lot easier to use than fence pliers once you get the hang of it. This tool is ideal for splicing rolls of woven wire and for t post clips.
