Then again. I found the brake to be very good for the price, only issue I had was the protruding hardware on the bottom, I would have recessed the bolts so the brake sits flat on the press without the need for more press blocks to allow it to mainly use it to cut 1/8" aluminum plate, and it works well.
A bracket can be made from it as well as other plates for attachment.
With it, clean bends can be achieved.
I would highly recommend him for the right jobs.
I am very pleased I like this.
A Sunex 20-'s in my possession We have a ton press that comes with several different size pieces of press pin. It is ideally suited for use in these kinds of presses to use a larger pin. Using the brakes. Although I like the overall construction of this press brake, I don't like the press - Neither the Sunex pin nor the pin collar fit the larger one. It's off by about one eighth of an inch. It is not enough just to tighten the setscrews on their own to keep the smaller pin moving in a straight line, and that is causing the guide posts to bend or break. The three stars I give it are due to the fact it may be useful and that it can be modified, but it poses a serious risk. A thick round mild steel bar collar I made out of machined mild steel was the fix for me, but not everyone has the ability to do this. There should be a fix for this from Eastwood. Probably works great on Harbor Freight presses (I don't know), but this should still be universal so users don't have to cringe every time they Additionally, I wanted to add that the flat bottom of each appliance without recesses for the screw thread and nuts and the die fastener really is a gimmick. In order to fix this issue as well, I tacked on 3/8" thick plates the bottom (front and back of the hardware). It is not a good idea to buy something which then needs to be modified or augmented in order to be.
