This product can bend #3 and #4 rebar with a capacity of 3/8 in. and 1/2 in.
I would not recommend using this on copper pipes.
The capacity of the bender is 5/8" and it has an indexing capacity of 5/8".
My experience with it was good, and I bent a lot of 1/2" rebar. Slide out the tool as far as it will go, and you will gain a great deal of However, a 1/2" still takes muscle, so take it easy and call it exercise. The tool is solid!

I was skeptical at first because of the ability to adjust the bar ahead of it and the length. It all went away as soon as I used it for the first time. This is a very solid and versatile piece. It fits the bar very well. Being able to pivot the head makes it easy to bend in tight places and it is easy to put on and off. Having bought it years ago would have been great. The order arrived earlier than expected as well. Buying it would be wise if you're a rodbreaker or a bridge of construction guy.
What it says that it will do it does. As a result of it, I was able to flatten rebar for concrete and garden art It is possible to bend rounded 90-degree corners, but it is not possible to bend When it comes to making tight bends, you'll need a motorized bender. HD built to a high quality, with a variety of head angles available.
We were able to bend rebar to 90 degrees with the indexing rebar bender with no problems. Although I was intending to use this tool for its intended purpose, I discovered that the notches can also be used to grip wrenches and ratchet handles in confined spaces and at odd angles, allowing me to apply much more torque to those tools that were otherwise difficult to handle. I recommend it!.
The purchase of this item is a must. A hickey bar is a very simple tool, but this is a very versatile one. The angle of the head allows the user to access tight spots for bending the rebar. My rebar contractor and I were both impressed by this feature. As well as providing more leverage, the extendable feature offers additional flexibility. A "rough" grip on the handle prevents hand slipping while wearing it. It is not a heavy tool to lug around the jobsite. Since I have been a pool contractor for over 30 years, I am always looking for improvements in tools that will help us get our work carried out more Almost any contractor who works with rebar would be well served by this tool.
We used it to bend a pair of 90-degree pipes Bends of 45 degrees in 1/2-inch pipes The diameter of the bar is 12 inches (#4) A 90 percent accuracy rate is achieved for eight pieces spaced roughly one inch apart. I am a 200 pound man and I had to use all of my strength and weight to make the tight turns. I'm not sure how well a 150 pound person could bend #4 rebar. The #3 rebar is twice as likely to bend. This is a great product to use occasionally.
It allows finishing ties to be placed in place using its indexing head. Anyone who ever did this knows just how frustrating it is to add another tie in the middle of a column.
It is also of good quality, but I think 3/4-inch rebar would be better. Despite its thickness, 2 x 1 rebar is too thick to bend by hand (or at all). The husband had to use his 37-inch bending tool instead. A 1. 5-ton log splitter is used to bend the rebar to 45 degrees (gently) Describe your degree. Our remaining steel plates could be used for thin rebar, or for a defensive club we still have them Having the wife as a giant bear is hard work He'd be able to do it if he could. The tally was also 0-for-one because he had a stocky fellow working with him Since there were thousands of dollars in 'accurate' benders, we bought it, but if you have #6 rebar, you should keep your 60- ton benders. Thousands of dollars. The channel of the log splitter is placed with a tooling die of 90 degrees.
