These clamps do work but I didn't like the way they looked after they were used. I have put all my effort into not dropping, banging or otherwise damaging the wood during the cutting, sanding, staining or painting phases, so the last thing I want to do is touch up eight holes and hope the filler doesn't show. Particularly in softer woods, they can leave behind holes that are nearly 1/8 inch wide. If the damage is not properly repaired, it can even create a pronounced area in the wood. I wouldn't buy them again, despite the fact that they did what they were supposed to do.
My basement is being renovated by a diy dad. My favourite parts of every project I try around the house are learning and discovering new things. The reason I bought these was because the price was half that of The tool is a game-changer because it's simple and easy to use. These clamps reduce the amount of time you spend working on DIY baseboard miters. By wasting money on additional mdf baseboards due to incorrect cuts or damaged boards, I wasted a lot of time and money. The cheap MDF is tough and I thought they would pierce through it overnight, so I left a few clamps on overnight. The event did not take place. After 24 hours, he was still at the same spot. Creating a simple system makes my life a lot easier and opens up a world of opportunities. This is a 100% recommendation.
It's nice to have handles on pliers, but I could not twist the clamps back into place after I opened them the first time. Stretching them open causes them to lose their spring.
Very impressive and well done Savings
I have to say, using these clamps on this project turned out really well. My batch size was 12 planters and I was able to make them in a couple of hours. Ideally, I would like to see versions 2 of these clamps with self-closing springs in between the handles, so that you wouldn't have to manually open or close them one at a time. My recommendation is for them to be tried by.
In order to get a frame for the print my wife bought, my wife and I went to Michael's. Not at all! These things provided plenty of clamping pressure to help me make the thing out of scratch.
Very well-made miter saw that does a great job holding angled cuts. You may have to fill small holes or sand down the area where they are if they are sharp. The only issue is that the tips of the clamp are very sharp and they may leave dents on your project.
Crown molding is too large for this small space. Picture frames and applied moldings are ideal for this product. Crown molding is too large for this small space. A lot easier to use and far more affordable than the German one, but it is limited as shown.
