Questions & Answers
The question is a good one. I have a number of Jorgensen clamps that are marked "made in United States". It appears that they have switched to a Chinese manufacturer in order to stay competitive. The standard warranty is still in place.
A jaw opening of 3" and a usable length of 2" make up this jaw opening The material doesn't but up against the lead screw because the width of the opening is 7/8".

Using this clamp with my new Incra box joint jig, I have the ability to screw on or remove small screws in the joint. Jorgensen clamps of the same size and quality that I have owned and used for decades are just as good. This is one of two clamps I have procured, I purchased a kit version initially but it didn't turn out so great, so for not much more money than the kit, I decided to purchase a completed clamp which I am very pleased with. Whenever the prices are on par with other vendors, I will buy more here. During my time with Stores123 I had buy from other vendors. The following updates have been made as of 12. 05. 15 The small clamp was so cool that I bought a second one to complete my.
Pony makes fantastic joints--as usual! My wife made wooden clamps, and I use several of them regularly.
This is very disappointing. Two of them (Jorgy originals) and two just awful replicas now exist in my collection.
Jorgenson clamps are not in these pictures, nor are they listed in the sales header, nor are they listed on the company's invoice. They are cheap Chinese knock offs, and very badly executed ones, It appears that the clamps I received are Bessey, however they are nothing like the clamps I have in my pro shop, which are Bessey. As soon as I received them, I returned them.
All kinds of work holding is possible with this clamp, along with all the usual clamping projects that need to be done.
You can't go wrong with a Incra Inox Jig is the most popular machine I use with it.
I have been using this on my box joint jig for a year or more.
br>Perfect size to clamp my pieces properly to the jig, and prevent them from coming loose. Others are too large and in your way. This clamp is the perfect addition to anyone who uses the Incra!.
