I have been using clamps like this for 42 years. These The shop needed to keep another pair in stock.
When I saw the "4 1/2-inch clamp", I knew I just needed a small clamp It was assumed that the "inch" in the description meant a 4 1/4-inch Clamps that are one inch in diameter. There is no such thing. The 12-inch screen is equipped with a A clamp that fits between one and two inches!.
This is a great.
Irwin has again produced a good product. Despite its versatility and solid performance, the clamp is quite sturdy.
In line with expectations.
Hand screws are nice, and this one should be good for you.
The need for a large range of clamps of various sizes and shapes quickly became apparent to me as a new woodworker. There are never enough clamps in my kitchen! I bought this clamp on a whim because I saw it locally and thought it was cute. The scene is a few months later when I am building an end table from 2x4's and need to anchor the work to my makeshift table. Since it was closest to me, I grabbed it and was able to secure my material. It was easy to grip the metal in a weird angle because the double jaws and Acme screws let me get a good grip. It was also a really tight grip. This didn't let the table move when I was pressing into the table with a large drill bit. As soon as I get my hands on another one (which I should have done in the first place), I'll have a pair.
