Comparatively, this clamp is awful compared to any other Festool clamp I have. A clamping bar might allow them to slip in any direction. The clamps on my tracksaw work even better than the ones that came with it. br>Take care not to fall victim to them.

In the end, they were all used up. It is not exactly what I would love to pay. 25$ is not what I am looking forward to but, the brand that makes these clamps charges about the same for their version that doesn't fit the rail. are great if you clamp a lot of stuff, but the quick clamps are better if you clamp a lot of stuff.
