The clamps are similar to the old jorgensen ones made in the USA, are they? I can tell you for sure that if you have compared those to the ones made in china, you will know exactly what I ?

Currently, I own Jorgensen clamps made in the USA and Dubuque clamps made in the Netherlands. There is no comparison between the quality of the Dubuque clamps and that of the old Jorgensen clamps. Buy the Dubuque clamps if you want to spend a few extra dollars. There will be no disappointment for you.

When you say 10" clamp, do you mean that the jaws will open parallel with each other 10" or do you mean that from the screw to the tip of the clamp it measures ?

These are the same clamps I measured. They are Having a parallel opening width of 7", they have a width of 7 inches. To get to the first screw, you need to measure 5 inches from the edge. There are 10" on the clamp due to its total width. The depth or height that can be used.

How do these clamps look like? Do they have any finish?

I find this screw to be very nice. It is hard to imagine it being any better than the way these threads are machined and they turn with no effort. The maple is solid and very nice too! to Jorgensens, which are the standard for safety and are also nice, but I feel these are better.

Clamps that hold wood very well

I think these clamps are the best wood clamps I have ever Well-made and strong, they are an excellent choice. These clamps are far superior to almost any other clamp of similar type. The clamps I ordered from Dubuque Clamp Works were shipped out immediately and I received them within a week. There will be more of them purchased by me in the future.
