Product Description

The brass-headed hammers and brass punches offered by OTC are ideal for areas where sparks from ferrous metals would be hazardous or where steel tools could damage metal parts.

It can be described as a 'Ok' product at best. The punches are fine. The hammer heads are fine. But the wooden handles on the heads are horrible. I received a cheap pine that was so dried out that one of the boards was already split when I got When I used it for the first time, the large handle broke. A wedge is also not used in the handles. There is a "pining" feeling among them. A pin is driven through the handle from one side of the head into the handle after the handle is inserted. Unless you do major surgery, it is impossible to replace a handle with a pin that does not go all the way through. In terms of the punches, I'll keep the product, however I wouldn't recommend it. Other products in the same price range that are better quality are available. This has been a very disappointing experience. There are usually no major complaints about their products.
