Questions & Answers
My husband works as an auto mechanic, so I bought him this for his birthday. As far as concrete is concerned, he will not use it. For the cutting of bolts and other metal objects, it is intended.
Made in Taiwan, they are known for their quality. The quality of the tools is pretty good, and I work with heavy equipment, if that gives you a clue? A second purchase would be worthwhile to me. It is cheaper to buy a new set than to replace those I bought 18 years ago. My last set of mayhew brand cables I bought from Snap-On. Would you mind if I did that for you?

The quality of the product is very high. When heavy truck maintenance is carried out, this device is used. Mayhew is a great manufacturer of high quality chisels and punches I have several of them. Air hammer ingersol 118max was used. The combination is very good. I have customers in the shop who always ask for my Mayhew products. With the Mayhew punches, a big truck bearing and race can be installed in less than 10 minutes. Also, the shake and break tool has saved a lot of time when it comes to taking out torx bolts, grub screws, and Phillips bolts. Using this makes my life a lot easier and it is well worth every dollar. A lifetime warranty means a lot to me. Thanks for making such great products.
There is a lot of weight behind this. I'm afraid my low end air chisel may not be powered enough to make the air chisel work due to its weight. Neither very sharp nor very clear. As part of my tree shearing daily routine, I needed it to remove the pulp and chips that basically form OSB in the cutting track.
Doesn't seem to get damaged easily. For chipping out a hopper for a cement pump boom truck, this tool is used daily.
I like it.
I used it once and it A piece of the tip broke off when I used it to remove a fan clutch from a Ford F150.
I was very impressed with this Made in the USA product. I removed a block of 12 x 12 by 16" deep with no difficulty.
