Questions & Answers

Is it possible to use it on wood window frames that have a sealant coating There is no record of what the original topcoat looked like. ?

The seal probably wouldn't be penetrated by it. Our sun was also affected by it We have faded window sills that have seal coats on them but it did not

Do you think this oil will work for vintage Danish A teak veneer dining table I have has some minor scratches and water rings and appears to be dry. ?

Rather than the natural color, I guess that it would be best to use it. We used it regularly on our 100 year old oak floors and got spectacular results. I haven't tried it on teak, but we have used it regularly on our 100 year old oak floors. Test it on a small spot first, just as you would with anything else.

I have a teak stool in the shower that I hope to refinish with this oil. Can it be used on it?

I agree - It seems like it would last for a while if it were kept in the shower, but am I right? If I were you, I would look for a stain that is for outdoor use- like a deck stain with an al-weather

In my kitchen, I have white pickled cabinets from 1990. Does rejuvenating oil have a stain or an oil that is regenerating?

If the cabinets are white pickled, I would not use oil.

Honestly, this is the first time in a long time I've been truly impressed with a product
5/5

The stuff I'm talking about is so awesome! It is highly recommended that you use this method for scratches or marks you may have on wooden surfaces BEFORE hiring a professional. A product like this has saved me quite a bit of money. My custom finished interior wood doors have been scratched and dings have been etched by the dogs in the last 5 years. I would like someone to come in and repair them again. A lot of damage had been done to the doors. It just does not work for me, and the wax kit, as well as other do it yourself kits, are not effective. My first reaction was to hire a professional to do the work, but after hearing about this rejuvenating oil, I thought I could at least reduce the cost of my work and do the small scratches on my own. That's really awesome! Initially, I did some small scratches, and then the larger ones, and then I went on! ! As of right now, I'm still working on my water damaged ceiling and the dinning room table that we thought needed to be replaced, and I haven't even finished the window sills We haven't even used half the quart of oil we purchased. If you ever complained that things weren't working the way they should- It has been two days since I last used this product. For the first time in a long time, I'm truly impressed with a product and would encourage others to try it as well. Thanks Rust-oleum! It's great to work with you! There's nothing like new about it anymore!.

This docking station was very well suited to my Klipsch Forte IIs in Walnut Oil
5/5

Earlier this year, I acquired a pair of 28 year old Klipsch Forte II speakers that needed rejuvenating. I used the Watco 66041 Rejuvenating Oil to lubricate them. In this original Walnut Oil finish, there were scratches and it was very dry. My oil is amazing. I applied 3 coats with 0000 steel wool and I am amazed by the results. Voici a tip Then, apply a thick layer of 0000 steel wool and wait for 10 minutes before wiping it off with a clean cotton cloth. The ease of use and great results make this a great tool. As part of my follow up, I applied three coats of Watco Satin Wax (last photo).

A miracle was worked
5/5

My beloved 20-inch cabinet had a water spot on it, so I bought this product and tried to get rid of it An old Snell E5 of about a year old. A pair of Mk2 speakers (just can't bear to get rid of They are part of a speaker system I am setting up with my TV and I wanted to get them as close to the original look as possible. In their owner's manuals, they say they are made of MDF (medium density fiberboard), like many speakers, and that they have cherry veneers that are hand-sanded and hand-oiled. There was a large amount of variance in the results Water marks (or whatever caused them) have been there for a long time, and I knew I would have a hard time reversing them without sanding and whatever else I would have to do in order to remove them. It took several applications of Watco to completely get rid of the mark, but I will admit that it did reduce the presence of the mark enough so that it is no longer as noticeable. I think it could not possibly be better than this. That being said, I happened to also have some wood kitchen cabinets in a lighter color. Heat from the cooking oven and splashes of water, as well as direct sunlight, have worn the paint over time. The refinishing expert came and said he would have to take them all in and refinish them (pretty pricey) before the wood dried out completely and cracked. My goal was to see if Formby's Lemon Oil Treatment would help us remedy the situation and give our cabinets more life. The spots remained pale and dried out, though the treatment worked a little but not great. I thought what the heck, I might as well give it a try since I had the Watcos. What a difference! It is amazing what a difference a year makes. With the streakiness and large dried out patches gone from the cabinets, they look almost as good as new. I have not noticed that once the product dried the problem persisted. I used it on every cabinet and I have not noticed any problems after use (about a week). I am sure this has given the cabinets a whole new lease on life, and saved us some money from having to replace the cabinets or complete a refinishing. The difference between this product and Formbys was quite impressive and I was very pleased with how effective it was.

Designed to give you a natural look with more than oil
5/5

A case study The door is made of teak wood with a southern exposure and ambient temperatures of up to 118 degrees Fahrenheit. Although I have used numerous sealants for watercraft, I have never used them for boats. 1- are all failures in what I consider to be a short period of time Seasons 2 and 3. Moreover, the surface condition was very ugly once the test failed, and striping was a tough task! The first thing I did was to use 60 grit and a A compressed air cleaner was used for cleaning. A damp cloth should not be wet but damp enough to wipe down. After 30 minutes, allow the surface to air dry.
Remember not to wipe the excess off and let it soak in. The application should be allowed to dry and then repeated three I have seen the best results to date the door looks its best. As long as I apply it once a year, that will be fine with me since it applies easily and dries in no time in 2 hours. This product is more than oil and gives a.

The item I use to repair woodwork is my secret weapon
5/5

You need to know this. Using this piece of woodwork repair equipment is one of my secret weapons. You can make worn cabinets look like new again by doing this. If you are working in a small area, ventilate it so it does not have a strong odor. It is equally effective on all types of doors, bases, and windows. Throw away cheap brushes are used to brush it on, and then a rag is used to wipe it off. Depending on the humidity, the process can take several days to complete. As spontaneous combustion is a real possibility when discarding rags, disposal needs to be done properly.

There was some work to be done on my cabinets
5/5

Using this product, they were restored to their original state. On Pinterest I read many restoration blogs. We had listed our house for sale, 15 years after we built it. I found this product. I had to make some repairs to my cabinets. Using this product, they were restored to their original state. It's okay to have scratches - There are a few small dents. You need to watch YouTube videos on how to use it properly, because that's.

It works like a miracle! I love how easy it is to use this stuff! As if by magic, it covered the scratches left behind by the previous owner's dog! It is hard to open the container, that is the only con!

Is good at what he does
5/5

When you need a quick cleanup and a shine on something that already has a finish, this will work well. Because it is not made for that, I wouldn't use it on a surface that needs a lot of protection. To protect the finish on the table we use every day, I lay it over the existing surface every few months, and it does what it says it will. There is a short lifespan of this product and you need to refill it You need to recoat it every few months, but it's better than wax since it doesn't yellow over time.
