In printed form, the L is 4 inches and in written form, it is 5 inches. There is only one piece to this rub on and I had no problem doing it. This is approximately the size of a baseball. The width is 22" and the height is 13". Over a mirror, it catches my eye. This product is great.

I'm under the impression that Monterrey wall finishes are relatively flat, light knockdown textured surfaces, so I think it would be fine. I wouldn't recommend this for stucco however.

It's very nice. I like the adhesion. It is very easy to use. This has been quite pleasant for us.
Also, the decals do not adhere well and are constantly rubbing the paper on the wall. It is not worth the effort. I was driving myself crazy with this. Make sure you are using something of higher.
Usually I have no problems with decals like this, but not this time. I had done such decals before, but this time there was an issue. I separated the back from the sticky side of the letter to stick it to the wall. Half of my letters stuck to the paper as I peeled off the back. I, along with my husband, had to try to put them back on so we could salvage the decals and hang them. We finally got them to the sticky paper and were able to hang them, but the letters that had actually stuck to the sticky part did not transfer to the wall.
