Backdrop of Stone Walls

Questions & Answers

What type of adhesive should I use to attach it to the wall?

Glue should be avoided at all costs. Painter's tape is a great option. Everything went smoothly. Put a few pieces on the wall and then apply the decal on top of them. It's also simple to remove without having to re-paint your walls.

Is it possible to use it outside?

I don't recommend it because the material isn't strong enough.

Is it possible to use this in the open air?

Sure, as long as you have an adhesive or other means of attaching it to the surface you're going to use it on. Plastic has been used.

Have you tried it on cardboard or a masonry basement wall? What kind of software did you employ? Thanks! ?

Hello, I decorated my library with the insta wall for my book fair. Because the material is similar to a plastic tablecloth, I used book tape to adhere it to the walls and shelving of my library. For the most part, it held up, and if it did fall down, I simply added more tape.

This turned my basement into a certain wizard school for a party, and it looked fantastic
5/5

I purchased two of these. Cutting and hanging with push pins is very simple. In certain lighting, the bricks appear gray, while in others, they appear brownish. The appearance was excellent, but shipping took an eternity. I would strongly suggest it. Yes, this is still the state of my basement. It's a hit with my daughter's friends.

The colors don't go together
3/5

If one isn't enough to cover your entire wall, don't order. I bought two packages of this wall covering to cover a large wall in my house. br>At first, I was ecstatic, quickly covering sections of my wall and noticing that the brick pattern is perfect enough that when overlapped, it is barely noticeable. It looks like the wall is made of bricks because it all blends together. br>However, this proved to be a waste of money very quickly. br>The colors of the two packages of the same product that were ordered at the same time are completely different. The one is brown and the other is grey. I've tried everything I can to make them blend together in a way that isn't too obvious. But it was in vain. I'm going to ask for a refund. br>br> I wish I had known before I placed my order.

Not bad- It was simple to hang up and pretty static filled, and it easily stuck to the wall
5/5

It was covered in painter's tape, which didn't show through. The rest of the items were also purchased on Amazon. I used it for a themed promotion congrats for my husband (total cost was under $20). It's four feet tall, but I stacked it on top of itself to make it eight feet tall. It's only one roll that you're seeing. It was difficult to see any lines that I liked because the scene was so crowded.

PROS LOTS OF COVERAGE FOR THE MONEY EASY TO USE IF CUTTING For unusual reasons, I purchased this
4/5

I bought this to use for the stone exterior of a castle play area I'm making for my ferrets because it was less expensive than contact paper, craft paper, laminate paper, etc. br>br>PROSbr>A lot of coverage for the pricebr>Easy to work withbr>If cutting, the "stones" will sometimes overlap seamlessly so it is not obvious that it's two or more pieces put togetherbr>br>br>CONSbr The plastic allows you to see the stickers on the box. br>br>Overall, I believe the money I spent on it was well spent. Because of the amount of coverage this provides, everything looks nice and cohesive on my castle.

Perfect for a Harry Potter themed birthday party
5/5

This was a fantastic addition to our Harry Potter themed birthday celebrations. I only wish it was a little taller to cover more wall space, but my daughter is still quite small, so it must appear quite tall to her as it is! Our dining room was instantly transformed into the Great Hall thanks to the stone wall theme! My party room photo appears to be inverted for some reason. I apologize for the inconvenience.

It's easy to work with and sets the tone
5/5

Please excuse the blurry photos; they were taken from a video. At Beauty and Breast's castle, it was used for a Murder Mystery Party. I was the one who did the most to establish the tone. When I first saw the book, I was disappointed that it wasn't printed in high-resolution. def, but since it was used as a backdrop, it didn't matter. I'd hire them again! Because it clung to the wall like static cling, it only needed to be adhered at the top. I had been awake for nearly two weeks prior to the party and had not fallen asleep. Tip: Cut a small vertical slice to fit over wall sconces and door knobs, allowing the knob to pop through while maintaining the stone illusion. I purchased two to cover various sections of the house, as well as two full doors and two French door windows. We used it to hide artwork that we didn't want to remove. Enjoy!.

Excellent quality! I really liked it
5/5

It looks great on the wall, and unless you look for them, you won't be able to tell where the seams are. That was crucial for me because I needed to cut around odd corners and patch holes with the faux wall. Because it doesn't have to be perfect, you get more use out of it. (I think I used every scrap! ) I decorated my entire dining room in a Harry Potter theme, and it turned out beautifully! I also thought the windows and door were fantastic. I hung it with packing tape, but I believe scotch tape would work as well. It is extremely light. It completely changes the atmosphere of the space and is well worth the money. After I took it down, I was able to save quite a bit of data - It sticks a lot, so you might lose some, but it's of good quality.
