Wood is the most common material I use
The inside of the roll is 3"
There is no question that this is not the best quality of painters tape. I would not recommend using it on a car as it would likely bleed.

These two textured, abstract pieces are just a few of the things I made with this product. It's okay for the paint to bleed when I didn't intend for it to, because the outcome of the painting looked just as great as I expected it to, so I'm going to let it slide, since I can see myself utilizing the bleeds in the future. When a few layers of paint were applied, it did bleed a little, so that was somewhat disappointing, but still this was a much cheaper option than most. It stayed in place very well and didn't tear off any paint like other tapes did when I used it in the past, easy to tear as long as you tear it straight (we all know what it feels like). There is a reason why I will buy it again, and the fact that it come in several sizes will encourage me to repeat the purchase. However, I would not use it for things where I need straight lines with no bleeding.
It was a lot quicker than using a knife.
This stuff sticks to plastics so firmly that it's almost impossible to remove it. Basically, I scraped the clear windshield off and ruined it. It leaves a sticky residue on wood, making it nearly impossible to clean in order to paint Having used it on walls, I would not DARE use it on walls.
There have been a few cases in which we have used it Traditionally used for a variety of purposes. The other was a paper project for an art class. Paint was protected from the paper with the tape, yet it had no problem peeling off and not damaging it. In addition to designing indoor activities with this tape, we have used it for wood, tile, and carpet activities for our children. In all these cases, it was easily removed and did not leave a residue behind. I am very pleased with my purchase and will.
As far as I'm concerned, this tape is perfect for my purpose. While I was searching for tape that would work for my acrylic canvas paintings, I found a lot of choices on Amazon. A tape that I came across caught my eye, so I gave it a try. My life has been so much better since then! I love this tape because it is extremely stick-able, does not unstick or come up unless you are trying to do it, and tears easily, even without trailing. Written by hand. My canvas will still be intact when I use this, and the paint won't peel up either. There is no doubt that this tape is worth your time.
As part of fret work, this kit can be used to tape off a guitar fingerboard. There was only one problem though the adhesive left a residue on the guitar neck where it came into contact. I did not expect that it would be so simple to remove. I don't feel this is a deal-breaker. My chances of buying it again are very good.
Using this tape to ensure clean edges on my watercolor paintings was an ideal purchase for me. Scotch-bond is one of the products I have used The brand name of painter's tape was what I usually used, but I wanted something thinner so I turned to Honestly, I do not recommend this tape at all. It did not only tear up the watercolor paper upon removal, but also failed to prevent paint from seeping through. I had to remove the tape to reveal most of the paper under a thin layer of paint that was continuing to ooze out from underneath. Possibly this substance would be suitable for another use, but I wouldn't recommend it for watercolors.
I'm very pleased with it. It holds up well, cuts easily, and does not leave behind With a variety of widths, it is easy to fit to the frets without waste. Below are some photos showing how the frets looked before and after fitting. Here is the taped photo after they were polished and taped.
