A thin film.
Although I haven't done this on a dry erase board, I know if I leave the tape on it a few months after painting, it will be difficult to remove.
It's hard for me to explain how I know this.

The footstool was bought by my daughter for my grandson so that he could store his video games on it. There were only stools she could find suitable for adult decor, and she wanted the decor to be more kid-friendly. As I was looking at the toys she bought him, I noticed a Mario toy, and I had the idea of painting the stool to look like brick blocks from It came out great, I think! My decision to buy this tape was based on its low price and my belief that it wouldn't matter whether I had a sharp line or not. However, I had a sharp line. The tape sticks a little stronger than blue painter's tape that you can buy at the local store, but it releases easily. When I used it on fabric where I expected various spots to bleed, there was not a single one! *I am not a hired reviewer, I am a real person.
The quality wasn't perfect but they were worth the price. However, I had some difficulties using them. While I was able to use them, they were the perfect size for what I needed. The first problem was that they did not adhere perfectly to the wall all the time. There was no way to prevent the tape from falling off even if the room was very humid. Despite the fact that I thought that it was stuck to the wall, it didn't seem to be Despite the fact that it was not the end of the world, it was As far as time is concerned I had a lot of time to deal with the issues, but if you are in a hurry perhaps better quality tape will be appropriate. However, for the price and for what I needed, they were fine. I would buy them again if the need arose.
I use it to position my design while stitching, as well as to show the center line and bottom line. Does it really come in handy in the sewing studio? For sewing, it's great! I have no idea how good it is for painting, but I think it must be very good for painting!.
I have bought and removed miles of 3M blue tape for painting and marking stages. As I write this, I can literally see shards of my stone backsplash slipping off.
In theory, it seems to be working, and I really appreciate the refund policy, if we don't like it, we can ask for It's as simple as that, no need to send the tape back. There is no reason not to try it. Rather than stacking the three rolls of tape together, they are packed in a strip, so if, as it happened to me, the post office tries to force it into a regular sized mailbox, they may get deformed a bit. I think it would be better if the manufacturers shipped them stacked in a row of three to save on.
After using this horrible product for this long, I spent HOURS trying to fix it. You should buy the 3M stuff instead to save money.
The product I needed had to provide sharp edges without bleeding and be easy to remove without picking up the underneath paint. In fact, it is capable of doing all of those things This paper can be torn from the roll easily and cleanly. Despite the fact that this purchase will hold me for a while, I will buy it again without.
