You should be able to do it. There is a citrus-based cleaner in it.
My guess is no. There's no special epoxy resin design here it's just that wood resin/pitch gets built up on the When I used it on saw blades, it worked effectively. The resin burned somewhat when I used it on router bits, and I found that it is only marginally effective.
On several blades I have used. In spite of soaking for a long period, no paint was removed, but tar, gum, and burn were either dissolved or softened so they could be easily removed with a stiff plastic brush (Suggest As a brass bristle brush was not required and I did not want to risk any metal corrosion, I didn't use one. The saw blades get abrashed when they are in use I had no problems with the plastic bristles).

The blades on my razor were all gross, and I tried Simple Green but nothing seemed to work. I was then recommended the Rockler blade cleaner by a friend and it worked In just five minutes, I soaked my blades in shampoo and washed them with a toothbrush. Afterward, the gunk came off, and the blades looked like new. Whether the blades are able to cut better after they've been cleaned is the test. Cuts all appear to be in good condition. This product comes highly recommended, and I fully back up my recommendation of it to anyone who wants to keep their blades in perfect.
You will find this to be a very good, reasonably priced product for maintaining your saw blades. Having clean blades reduces the frequency of sharpening as well as the risk of injury. When mixed with water, the product can go a long way, so a quart is sufficient for a long time.
This is a safe and fast way to get pitch out of blades, tools or shearing For several years I had been in the Christmas tree business and always had a need for a means to clean the shearing knives from built up pitch this product accomplished the task easily and quickly. To prevent saw blades from collecting pitch buildup, I now use it in my woodworking shop. You can dilute this product to any strength you need, so it goes a long way, making it an economical product.
The table saw blades of my table saw were cleaned with this. I was pleasantly surprised at how well it worked. Only downside is that two of these resin containers are required to fill up the large blue container that comes with the Rockler kit, otherwise only one side of the blade is covered at a time. When you are done using the product, just dump the excess back into the resin container to reuse it again. The resin does not need to be replaced every time your blades are cleaned.
The cleaner does a poor job.
The product eliminates hours of resin build-up and extends the life of saw blades by cleaning them. After just a couple of minutes, I was able to use a toothbrush to remove the There was an oil-based product I used In a change pan, soak the blades for two hours. Then, use a paint filter/funnel to remove debris as I pour the cleaner back into the container to be reused.
After soaking the blades for twenty minutes in the solution, I had to do a little more scrubbing with the wire brush than I had expected I will be back in thirty It might be necessary to clean more often than anticipated.
I highly recommend it. There were about 10 circular saw blades that would have otherwise had to be discarded that I washed. There is no longer an overheating problem with Theu.
