For the purpose of painting 14 walls, I bought these for my crew. I must also say that I won't buy any other extension pole after trying these. Even extended to full length, they don't wobble or bend like their competitors do. This is a heavy duty, well built roller, and coupled with the wooster extended nap roller, you've got a perfect combination. Also, it does not need to be tightened to lock into place which means you do not need to concern yourself with it retracting back into place when you tighten In addition to being made in the good old United States of America, I recommend wooster for anyone who plans on painting. This is awesome-.
A few days ago, I painted my house and the ceilings of my room With out this stick, I would not have been able to accomplish this. This extension is sturdy and easy to use. It allows you to elongate and retract it very quickly, while solidly locking into place when in use. When I paint, I use an extension for a broom handle, which I have used for years There are times when they break and times when they don't There has been a dramatic improvement after using this product. It would have been better if I had bought it Then this is what you need if you are like me and paint with a roller periodically or have hard-to-reach spots.
The purpose of buying it was to use it in a variety of ways. As well as painting, I also needed a clothesline pole which I found to be very useful. Because I can adjust the height so easily, I find it very useful. The pole's lever makes it easier to extend than any other pole I've ever seen. There is no need to push a little silver button with all your finger strength to find a little hole, and hope you line it up just right. Best of all, this company is about 20 miles from where we live and makes some of the highest quality.
The quick telescoping latching points are an added bonus as well. In the summer of this year, I bought three different sizes of the Wooster Sherlock poles and the matching roller to paint three buildings on my own. To cope with the rough texture of the siding, I spray painted it with an airless sprayer and rolled it down. With the paint roller unscrewing itself from the pole, I wouldn't have been able to achieve as much as I did. It only took a few seconds to change the roller's pole to a shorter one or longer one. With this extension pole, I'll never go back to the other type. The only problem here is that Wooster hasn't made it clearer just what the difference is between the Sherlock GT convertible poles versus the threaded ends-only poles For all your threaded adapter needs, it is best to get this one with the optional threaded adapter in the bottom of the handle. Rollers made by Wooster Sherlock fit these poles and are only a couple dollars more expensive than those made by cheaper manufacturers.
Its simplicity and ease of use make it an elegant and simple product. There is less stress with a cleaner system. There are four types of Sherlock GT Convertible sticks the Standard, the Platinum, and the Premium. This is a product worth every.
Everything worked just as it should have. When fully extended, the pole is quite long, but, despite its length, it retains its weight quite well and, at full extension, I was able to use a brush without trouble. (Of course, how easy it would be for each person would really depend on their own strengths.
Last year, I used this type of extension pole for the first time and I was very impressed. The fact that it was not flexy or bouncey when it was extended out all the way was appealing to me. A second benefit I liked was that the roller was held in place without a chance of it coming loose. Furthermore, it comes with an adapter that can be used with screw on mounts, so all of your other tools aren't rendered redundant. As an added bonus, the adapter can be stored in the handle. In addition to its low price, the tool is of higher quality as well.
In the garage, I used this to paint everything - There are three elements in the room walls, ceiling, and floors. In my case, I used a Wooster 18 inch roller frame. You just need to make sure the rollers don't fall off by tightening the wingnuts. Using the frame is easier since it has an angled shape. It enabled me to apply a two-part paint A part of 100% solids epoxy was applied to the floor, and the epoxy rolled out easily with very little effort. Take the length so your hands are comfortable.
