Questions & Answers

When it comes to threading size, what is it?

All paint rollers and the like screw on to the tip, but I am not exactly sure if they will attach to a different roller. There is an O at the end of the square thread. In the form of a. The thread count is approximately 5 per inch and the width is 720 inches.

Do you think this pole will work with a roller head measuring 18 inches in diameter?

The base should screw onto the pole's end as long as the base is screwable.

Is there anyone who has rusted on this? Specifically, I am looking to use it to extend my antenna ?

The following is a comment about You can find it under line My 4-pack of these has been going strong for a while now For more than a year, I have used the 9 foot model as an antenna mast on my RV trailer whenever it was needed. There was no time when the pole was outside all that time, only on As of yet, there have been no problems with rust or weather damage. The building suffered no damage from the wind, despite gale-force conditions. My recommendation is to use this pole above all My trailer ladder is attached to the pole with two sets of SmallRig Super Clamps - each set of clamps is bridged using a pipe clamp The end of the stud screw is flat. It is very easy and quick to deploy. To attach to the ladder, I have also used two zip ties. Having been using a 2nd 4-inch tripod for years, I thought I'd share this information The tallest person is 9 feet. A line 6572L pole is used in PHOTOGRAPHY - video and still - to support cameras at height, such as for pseudo-aerial or I really like it. Deploying the application is fast and simple. Retractions should be made as quickly as possible. br>This pole is the best for both applications based on what I have experienced.

This can be easily fixed with a file
3/5

It's a cross-thread on the threaded end. Any screw you screw onto it is threaded onto There is a camera adapter I use for home inspections and it started cross threading after about a full rotation. A trip to the local Home Depot was in order I went to Lowe's to test the adapter (it was a new one The same issue was encountered on all Shur Line poles, but the Wooster poles worked fine (easy to attach & removable The cause of the problem is In contrast, ShurLine begins machining with a fully threaded part, whereas standard methods ramp up from no thread to fully threaded. The problem was solved with an easy file and now everything works fine. The design engineer made a rookie mistake and there was no quality check to catch it A rating of 1 star means no go. The pictures are arranged from left to right The ShurLine that was purchased After filing a ramp, HurLine would be threaded into the first hole This was a wise design decision by Wooster.

Although not perfect, the build quality is good
3/5

The materials are top-notch and the construction is sturdy. Using the telescoping handle on both ends is one of the neatest features. As a result of the heavy weight and the fact there is no locking nut to tighten the roller down, I docked this two stars. As well as the sticker covering the foam handle, the handle comes with three additional One of the stickers on the handle rips to pieces when you try to remove it. Two of the stickers are designed for removal. It feels natural for me to hold that sticker at its base, right at the base of the foam.

This would be perfect if it was not coated in sticky goo
3/5

There was a product name/display label and the usual warning label attached to the pole. There is an extra sticky adhesive attached to the foam grip that has left the grip wrapped in a gooey muck. Not on an official basis I could clean it off with some WD-40 on a porous surface, such as plastic or aluminum It seems to be staying here on the spongy grip, however, as it can be just as effective as 40 or Goo Gone. It's a pain in the a--! In addition, the plastic wrapper in which it was packaged was extremely difficult to remove. I had to spend five minutes trying to pry the pole out of its It was obvious that someone did not think. It was a great product, but the packaging ruined it. It would have been much easier to resolve everything if we had used rubber bands instead of adhesive and tape. We are saddened.

Costs of convenience are associated with A comfortable paint extension pole, but it weighs more than it should, being made out of aluminum
3/5

There is no need for the extension mechanism to be so The push button latch is easy to use, but the complicated mechanism that extends in both directions at once may be hard to maintain and may seem difficult to repair. As well as the electrical warning label, I found it difficult to remove it- It's a good idea to leave the adhesive on the foam at the exact place where people will probably The extension pole is a bit heavy and I am not sure if I should return it. It could be very useful if it is durable enough to be used over the long haul.

A loose fit is felt when the roller frame is attached
3/5

It cost me the same as the roller frame that matches it from Shur Line, and I am not as pleased with it as I had expected to be given the As much as I didn't want to save money on my roller frame and extension pole, I wish I were more careful. This does not stay tight on the shelf. It's a roller frame, line by line! It was of the same brand so I hoped to avoid this specific problem. There is a letdown in my life. If you want it to stay screwed on to each other, you need to put some loctite on it. It won't be possible to unscrew it then. I find this problem very annoying. It is nice that it extends from both ends and has a comfortable grip, but that is about all I like The item I bought could have been better. It should have been far better than it was for the price.

Oh my god, what a gooey mess
3/5

As advertised, the extension pole works well, but the stick on label on the pole was difficult to remove once it was placed on the pole. I have tried to soak it in alcohol, Googone, etc. , and it still remains When I was working on a site, I finally gave up and wrapped it in a paper towel. I didn't need to tape it down. The only thing I would get are white paper towel fuzzies if I tried to pull it off. I hate it. The people I work with when I go on a photo shoot appreciate my professional appearance! I like that! I sent an email to On the other hand, I called Customer Service and asked if I could purchase a replacement foam, since the gooey mess is right where my hands need to hold it and I've had no luck cleaning it up despite spending about three hours working on it. The company told me that the foam is not replaceable after a few days. In what way? Is it possible that painters, who will be using this tool each and every day, will wear it It is a nice product. I like that it can be folded up to such a small size, but I wish I had bought Wooster brand instead.

This is a great tool for painting projects of all heights and speeds them up Painting projects are significantly sped up with this method
5/5

After a week of painting a 4,400 sqft home without any extensions, I felt quite tired and had lost my Since I didn't need a ladder or step to go floor to ceiling, my painting went much faster. Thanks to a friend, I was able to borrow this and paint much quicker. There is a lot more strength in this extender than ordinary sticks. As well, I like the fact that the length can be adjusted instead of being fixed at 5'. With it, I was able to paint three rooms in the time that it took me to paint one. Using this program is much faster and more convenient. It was inevitable that I would have to buy my own since I wouldn't be able to paint again without these! I was able to bring some character into this accent wall by doing a herringbone design as a result of the time savings.

With its unique action, this product is super cool
5/5

The interface is universal, but not universally available. Despite the fact that the item is common, this is an excellent design. Despite the fact that painter's poles are found in every hardware store, this one is special because of its action. As I bought it to use with a GoPro camera and gimbal, the fact that it is quick to extend and retract makes it very secure and versatile tool for taking photos. Therefore, I would like to say a few things. In spite of the fact that many of these Painter's Poles advertise "Universal Threads", these are far from the truth when applied to real life scenarios. Additionally, I have over a dozen other makes of painter's poles, which do not all interchange. I also had around five or six additional screw on attachment pieces. As far as thread pitch is concerned, it seems to be In some top sections, the thread count is IDENTICAL, but others are different. On the same pole you can fit several tools (roller, brush, photo adapter, etc. ). It may be one or several, but not all of the ones I have. A 'word to the wise' on this matter. Over the years, I have learned a lot through trial and error. Shur-In the case of this I only have 2 'things' that will properly attach to the threaded top of the line pole. It's always best to try before you buy.
