The purdy poles are made to break and are not made to last
3/5

As a painter, I rely on my tools to make me more productive. These purdy poles do the opposite. The idea is great, but the execution is awful. At first, they worked quite well, but soon the mechanism that kept the pole in its adjusted position started to wear out. Several of these poles in different sizes ended up breaking in time, and they have all happened to me at the same time. A pole collapsing back onto you while you are trying to use it is horribly frustrating. In my initial contact with Purdy 2*, I received an automated reply saying the company would contact me within the hour. My email was sent many weeks ago and I never heard back from them. In order to meet my needs, I started replacing my poles with those from Wooster. We regret their willingness to not stand behind their product. Please note that this review is only for the pole and does not include the seller's or Amazon's experiences, which were fantastic.

I like this pole a lot
5/5

The odds are in your favor. In my professional capacity as a painter in New York, I bring my own tools to each project. Painting requires a lot of poles, so it is essential for a painter to own one. Having it be convenient and reliable is important since it is used for painting and sanding. That's why the purdy power lock fits the bill. The pros are If you have a stylish handle (I have), then you don't have to turn it in half to remove it. In a single click, you are able to remove it and continue your journey. The ability to set the extension of the pole to the size you prefer is also a nice If you want, you can lock in at any increment you want. Finally, I wish to mention the rubber at the end of the pole, which is very durable and feels good against my hand. If you work in small spaces, you may find you are hit by the wall behind you as you use The rubber tip on the end of the rod at least won't gouge the wall or hurt anyone. The cons are I don't think it's practical to carry this pole around with other tools, since it's a bit heavier than I like. You need to get used to it. With wear and tear, the mechanism that keeps the stick extended tends to wear out, and you'll notice the stick retracting.

You're going to like that, but be careful of how big the four is A 8 foot pole measures 8 feet high
5/5

"FullCircle Radius360" sander is the tool I use with it. The material does a great job of sanding drywall quickly. Getting the 2-pack is a good idea, I recommend it highly However, a four-foot pole is insufficient for this example, as the four-foot pole doesn't It is far too long to use a pole of 8 feet most of the time. At some point, I intend to purchase the smaller pole. While the pole itself feels heavy for its size and strength, it is still very stable, even at full extension, and very sturdy at full extension. There have been times where the lock release has been difficult to release, but a firm grip has always been enough to get it back on. When locked, it does not slide, and the locking mechanism works well to allow it to be adjusted to the length desired. It's tough enough that I'm not worried about it holding a roller securely. I've yet to paint on it, but given how sturdy it is, it wouldn't be a problem mounting a roller. Please realize that 4- is not perfect with this recommendation, but I recommend it nonetheless Buy the appropriate length for your use case if you are buying 8 foot, as it is much longer than the numbers might indicate.

Making it in the USA may be overrated, moving from Wooster to Purdy
5/5

The experience has been more impressive than I was expecting. There is only one disapproval the quick release isn't as quick as Wooster's extension pole, but the Purdy is way better in every way. It is easy to grip the rubber grip to prevent damage to walls, it is lighter weight, its extension can be easily adjusted, and it is made of quality materials.

Increase the length by an incremental amount
5/5

Having taught myself to paint, it is clear that I am not a professional yet but neither a novice. In over 30 years of painting mostly indoors, I can say that this product is sturdy (well built), weighs appropriately (not too heavy, not too light), and it can be adjusted by fractions of an inch. This is a 2-piece set that I bought The pole measures 4 feet tall. You can adjust the length to exactly what you want, whether it is 2' or 3'. A 25" or 2' 7" height is to be considered. 5' 10" or 50" if you are in the U. S. You can say "875" or whatever you want. You can lock the adjustment precisely at the location you have selected. As a painter, I love the ability to adjust pole length for different situations. Whether I am painting while standing on the floor or standing on a stool, I like the pole length flexibility. The tip of my toes (just kidding! You're so cute! This book is highly.

I found this to be very helpful
5/5

I like this a lot. If a 3-year plan were in place, I might consider it This would be better with a 6 foot pole, but they only make two foot poles There are four 4's and four 4's Usually I don't need an 8' extension, but I frequently move from fairly close work (where a 2' extension is compact enough to not get in the way) to slightly extended work (where a 4' extension would suit my needs). In other words, this extension pole can pretty much stay in place on the roller at all times.

The quality of the materials so far has been very good
5/5

This was gifted to me to use for painting, although I found it could also be used for many other things. My exterior walls are very high and this thing extends just enough to reach spider webs on my exterior walls. I was able to use this with my vacuum and it was a great product. The lock system has not yet been used by me. This has so far been a good experience. As a matter of fact, I even used it to wash my car after putting on a scrub brush first.

It is a perfect pole for a variety of I had been looking for a pole like this
5/5

Springer Spaniel's love of birds was built on chasing birds, so I needed a stable pole to use to teach her. Originally, I was thinking of using a bamboo pole, but I felt like I should try this one as well. A bamboo pole with an adjustable height cost the same as a bamboo pole fixed at one height. The padded ladder can not only be used to train my dog, but can also be used when I paint instead of As well as that, I can use it to clean my windows using a squeegee. Getting this "4 - " was a pleasure thanks to you We're talking about a professional grade pole that stands at 8 feet!.
